Zekrom flew toward the thunderous mountain, his red eyes becoming redder and redder as the sun began to grow darker from the storm clouds. Leila became scared, yet her courage triumphed and her golden eyes showed hatred for the legendary Pokemon. Natalie held onto Zekrom, not sure whether or not if she could stop and turn around now if she had the chance. Yet Leila would just be angry with her, so she stayed on the black Pokemon.

The mountain grew closer and closer. Natalie thought she saw a yellow Pokemon stand on a rock, but then it was gone. The storm grew fiercer as Zekrom grew closer. She was sure that Raikou could see them coming, but yet she couldn't see him. A lightning bolt came down and nearly hit them, but Zekrom was to quick. He dodged it, but barley. His left wing got caught from the bolt. He dipped down to a rocky outcrop where it was sheltered by the wind and lightning. It was big enough for all three of them, but she knew if Raikou would come, they were doomed.

"I need the help of Latias to get through that storm, or at least you two do." Zekrom rumbled, looking up at the sky.

"Could you call him?" Leila asked, a little angry about how they didn't make it to the mountain.

"I could, only my wing's hurt. And I doubt I could make it out of this storm."

"Can we get off and climb the mountain, then? Just to make the trip at least quicker? You don't have to hurt yourself more, Zekrom." Natalie piped up.

Zekrom sighed and lifed his arm to help the two off his shoulder and onto the ground. His red eyes digging deep into the mountain. "If you need help, just call." he said.

"Right." the trainer said, getting the pack off her back and pulling out a few berries and handed them out to him. "Here, eat these. I know they won't cover your appetite, but it will heal your wing until we get back or if we call."

"Thank you." the black Pokemon said thankfully. Taking the berries with care, as to not hurt Natalie, he ate them quickly then sighed of relief. "Go, quickly, before the sun sets. Raikou has an advantage then."

Nodding, Natalie put the backpack back on her back and turned around, heading for a trail that didn't even exist. Leila ran beside her, the umbreon's four legs helping with balance. Natalie got an idea, yet she hated it. She began climbing on her hand and knees, making her pant legs' knees dirty, yet she didn't care know because they were making progress.

Leila was always in front of her, but would stop to wait for her trainer when she couldn't hear her breathing anymore. When Natalie came into veiw and looked at her, would she then climb up more. It soon got tiring, so she just stayed by Natalie, watching in case she fell.

A rock under Natalie's foot slipped and she nearly fell if it wasn't for a lone plant in the ground. Leila helped her up and stayed behind her the rest of the way.

They heard thunder rolling and saw lightning flash. The earth was mostly gravel and rock except for a few plants here and there along with some vines. There was no Pokemon visible at the time, but both Pokemon and trainer knew that perhaps Geodude and Gravler and perhaps even Golem were in hiding, waiting to be stepped on so they could attack who was responsible for it.

They stopped occasionally when the grind was straight and not steep, but that was rare. They drank from Natalie's water canteen and ate a few berries if they were hungry, but they hardly ate anything. The more they climbed, the darker it got. The more darker it got, the harder to see. The harder to see, the more dangerous it became. When they got closer to the top, they couldn't see anything except when lightning flashed across the sky. They even heard Raikou's roar every now and again and he sounded angry.

Natalie stopped at the last rest stop on the climb. It wasn't really flat, but it was the best they could do until the top. Leila sat next to her, panting from the long climb.
