Zelena's POV

It was 8:20 am when I awoke to the sound of someone in my kitchen. First instincts: check on Robyn, then I remembered that Evie spent the night. I walked in the kitchen, "So how was your sleep?"

"Fine." she replied a little distracted.

"Did Regina," I approached the question with caution, "call yet?"

Evie tried to avoid the subject, "Do you want waffles?"

I frowned and crossed my arms over my chest, "Evangeline..."

She hates the name but I do love the name it sounds so sophisticated. She turns to face me her expression was pure shock. It almost made me laugh but I merely said, "So did she call you?"

Evie silently nods.

"And?"

"And she wants me to meet her at Granny's."

I exhaled, "Let's go to Granny's then."

Evie took a deep breath and took Robyn out off the crib and headed out, it was surprising how well that went. I expected her to whine about not wanting to go, she made it obvious she didn't want to go.

We walked in silence to Granny's.

"Evie!" Regina hugged Evie, "Thank God you're alright!"

Evie handed me Robyn. "Let's sit down." she suggests.

Regina immediately bombarded Evie with questions. "Where? Why?!"

Evie took a deep breathe, "I just wanted to go for a walk and ended up wallking outside Ze- uh... I mean Aunt Zelena's farm house. As for why, do I really need to answer that?"

Not going to lie, I did enjoyed being called "Aunt" again.

At that moment Young Ben came in with his eyes fixated on my niece.

"I need to talk to you, Evie." he states.

Evie merely gestures to the seat, "Take a seat."

The boy did as he was told. Evie stared him down, "You haven't told them." she simply stated.

"No," Ben shook his head, "and they're pushing me to get a girl friend, what do I do?!"

Evie smirks, "Tell the truth!"

Ben argues, "I don't think you understand... my father's the dark one. Not the understanding one!"

Evie chuckles, "Sooner or later they're bound to find out and in my experience keeping secrets never end well for both parties."

"So I should just say," Be asked, "Mom, Dad Mal's my girlfriend. Like that?"

At that moment Rumple came in the diner with Belle.

"Benjamin Florian Gold!" Rumple screeched, making Ben cringed quite visibly. My neice grabbed my hand and I, in turn, held my daughter tighter.

There was silence in the dinner, Jay gasped when his violet haired friend walked in the diner. Carlos's dog, Dude, ran in front of Mal growling at Rumple.

Silence...

The girl looked so confused by what was going on. Regina stood up, "Zelena, take Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay, Ben, and Henry to my house."

Evie looked up at her mother, "But..."

"This is my mess," Ben argued, "I should be the one cleaning it up."

But my sister didn't hear any of it and we were sent off.

Evie paced in the living room and kept muttering, "I can't just sit here. Can't just sit here, while their out there fighting." She turns her head to the hall mirror and it cracked.

Carlos's hands fidgeted as he sat on the sofa.

Mal's eyes was nervously looking around, as if expecting someone to appear.

Jay tapped his fingers on the counter nonstop.

Ben sat next to Henry, who was holding his author's pen.

"I don't like being kept in anymore than you children," I said, "but Regina wanted me to protect all of you."

Evie took a shaky breath, "That's it!" she yells, "I'm going to go help! Who's with me?!"

"Haven't you been listening to me?!" I snapped, "It's too dangerous facing the dark one. You won't survive!"

Evie sat down next to me and smiled, "Haven't you been listening to me, Aunty? All we need is hope."

"God!" I exasperated, "You sound like Snow."

Evie stood up, "She is my sister."

"So what do we need?" I asked.

"A plan." Evie declared, "Anybody got one?"
