Carlos' POV

I woke up to loud music that morning at first I was worried, then I realized that Ruby was staying here.

I heard her growled. I didn't think much of it, until I heard a voice one that I had hoped I would never hear again. My mother, Cruella De Ville. "I could make a coat out of your fur." Before I could get on my feet, I heard a loud bang and clawing of the wooden floors.

Instinct,  I scampered to the kitchen, Ruby and my mother weren't there anymore the door was wide opened but no one was outside, I panicked and ran to grab my phone. Jay and Granny were in the diner, working. Ruby and I were suppose to be working at the inn.

I called Mal, no answer.

So I called Evie. "Hello, Carlos." Evie sounded drowsy.

"Oh Evie." I sounded desperate, "Ruby was taken…"

"Taken?" Evie questions, "Taken where?"

I didn't know how to explain it without sounding crazy so I just asked her to come by asap.

15 minutes later, a doorbell. "Its open!" I sighed.

In comes Evie, Mal, and Ms. Zelena. "Carlos, what's wrong?" Evie asked.

"Wolfie!" Dorothy's voice from the kitchen, "You're grandmother's looking for you!" "Hey Carlos, is Re…" Dorothy then saw Zelena, "What she doing here?!"

Evie and Mal looked at Ms. Zelena. I sat up, "Ruby was taken by Cruella."

That seemed to get everyone's attention.

"Are you sure?" Mal asked.

"Isn't she de…" Evie realized, "Oh. Oh no."

"Yeah." I  nodded, "You understand right? If Cruella came back it means she is able to kill. She might kill Ruby." I hyperventilated.

"Ok ok," Ms. Zelena sighs, "calm down."

"Aunt Zelena's right." Evie sat down.

Evie's statement was so shocking that everyone's eyes stared at her. Mal even asked, "Did the princess just agreed with someone besides herself?!"

Evie frowns, "She's right Carlos needs to calm down. There is no use on panicking in this situation. What we need is to figure out why Cruella took Red, then we need a plan to get her back here safely."

Everyone looked at Mal, who sighed, "Ok first things first, why did she take Ruby?"

"I don't know." I sighed miserably.

"Think, Carlos." Evie sat beside me, "What would she get out off taking Red?"

"Fur?" I suggested, just then the home phone rang.

It was Cruella, herself. "Carlos!" she yells, "I've got your little wolf friend, here." Then she sounded gleeful, "If you want her back you'll have to come to the woods, alone." She laughs, "Toodles!" and she hang up.

"Carlos?" Evie's voice came from behind me.

"It was Cruella!" I snarled, "She wants me to meet her in the woods, alone."

"Are you insane?!" Evie demands as she walked in front of me and turned to face me. "Carlos, you can't face her alone!"

"She's right," Mal sighs, "Carlos, she's way too dangerous."

"I know," I sighed,"but she said to come alone. Ruby's my family and she's in trouble. I can't just sit here and wait for the sheriffs to come to the rescue."

"We've been through a lot, together." Evie insists, "We're your family too and there is no way in hell you are going alone."

"Speaking of…" Mal turns to face Ms. Zelena, "where's Robyn?"

"Ashley has her." Evie replied.

"You left my baby to a stranger!" Ms. Zelena gasped.

"Oh calm down." Evie fanned her aunt's face, "Its Ashley the worst thing that she could do to Robyn is feed her pumpkin."

Mal chuckled.

Dorothy frowned, "Let's save Wolfie before that…"

"Vampire Bat? Inhuman Beast?" I suggested.

"Yes, that she demon skins Red alive." Dorothy corrected.
