Jay's POV
Its been a month since Cruella's arrest and everything and everyone seemed to go back to normal. I was cleaning out the oven, when I smelled smoke. "What a terrible faith." a dark familiar chuckle. I turned and saw my father, Jafar floating in front of me. "What a terrible thing to do for Jay?" he moved his staff from one hand to the other, "These chores you do for the she wolf and her pup isn't worthy of you."
I opened my mouth to say something but black smoke blurred my vision momentarily and he disappeared, leaving behind a note.
I grabbed the note and read it:
Game, let's play fetch
Recall the evenings in
Agrabbah when
Mother had hearts and never sin.
When their only role was to care and tend
Their names and titles were not important
Not heroism and certainly not desire.
Come and figure it out.
I tried to decipher it. I gasped when I realized what it meant. I jumped to my feet, ran out to my motorcycle, and sped to the mayoral mansion. "Evie?!"
The door opens revealing a very tired Ms. Regina. "What do you want?! Evie's asleep." she snaps.
"I'm sorry your majesty," I apologized. "I just saw my father at the diner and he left this note. A threat."
She grabs the note. "I think I know who he's after!" she gasped, "Come in! I'll wake Evie."
As I walked in, I heard footsteps running down the stairs. Roland wearing his footy pajamas yawned, "What's going on?"
Ms. Regina just looked at Roland and dashed up stairs. Minutes later, Evie came down looking worried, "What happened?! Where's the note?! He better not have hurt my cousin!"
Regina had asked Emma to watch over Roland and Henry, while Regina, Evie and, I went to Zelena's farm house.
As soon as Zelena opens the door Evie demands, "Where's Robyn?!"
Ms. Zelena looked at her sister, "Hello to you, too."
Evie pushed her aunt aside and ran towards the nursery I followed her in. She sighs in relief when she saw her cousin sleeping soundly.
"Can I see the damn note!" she demands.
I handed her the note.
"Next time," she exhaled while reading the note, "I will read the note!"
"What do you mean?"
"This isn't about Robyn or my aunt its about Granny! The mother of all of us in town." she ran out the house and into the mines.
