Furry fury

Carlos's POV

When Ms. Zelena parked the car at the far side of the woods behind a tall tree, I jumped out of the car.

Cruella was standing taunting Ruby. "I can't wait to have your fur as a warm coat."

I stepped forward, "I'm here, Cruella!"

"Carlos?" Ruby lifted her head up.

"Let her go!" I stated.

Cruella smirks, "I think not, you four can come out now!" Cruella pulled out her gun and pointed it Ruby, "You didn't follow instructions." She grabs Evie by the hair, "Now, I'll start with you, princess. Your brother and mother are the reasons why I got stuck in the underworld!"

Ms. Zelena yelled, "Let her go!"

"Don't worry greenie," Cruella pointed the gun at Evie's head, "I just want to see red come out of her blue head."

Ms. Zelena walked towards them, "Kill me, instead."

That got Cruella's attention, "You would actually sacrifice yourself to protect her?" Releasing her grip off Evie.

Evie who remained stoic even when my mother had a gun to her head. Finally broke down crying as she ran towards hit  aunt. Evie pleaded with Ms. Zelena, "You can't do this! What about Robyn?"

Ms. Zelena hugged Evie told her to take care of Robyn and Ms. Zelena turned around and walked towards Cruella, leaving Evie and Robyn both crying. Evie brought her arms up. A bright blue light of electricity sparked on her palms and she threw it. It missed by an inch but it was still close enough to startle Cruella.

Evie walked slowly towards Cruella, "Get away from my aunt, Fur ball."

"You made a deadly mistake Princess." Cruella sneered.

"No, I think I'm doing the right thing." Evie smirked.

Cruella then disintegrated and Evie ran to hug her aunt.

"That was so stupid, Evie." Ms. Zelena sighs, "Why would you risk your life for me?"

Evie smiles, "You were ready to risk your life to save me because you love me." Evie sighs, "I saved you because I love you."

Mal smiles.

Then I am reminded of the day that Ms. Zelena had gone down the mines to fight the black fairy. While Ms. Regina and Ms. Zelena argue Mal, Evie, Jay, and I were crouch down behind the walls. When Ms. Zelena was thrown against the mine walls, Evie jumped in shocked.

Evie and Ms. Zelena have a weird relationship, they bicker, they fight but when one is in trouble the other rushes in to help. Evie has always been one to help the underdog so it came to no surprise that she took her aunt's side, but now looking at how they react I realized how alike Ms. Zelena and Evie are even more than Ms. Regina and Evie.

Dorothy clears her throat, "Can we go now this place is giving me the creeps?"

Mal, Dorothy, Ruby, Ms. Zelena, and Evie had started to walk towards the town. I looked at the spot from where Cruella had banished and walked away.
