"Mal?" Ben questions.
Mal has been sitting in her seat with a vacant stare.
"Mal?" Ben lightly tapped her shoulder.
"Uh..." Mal surprised, "what?"
"You've been spacing out," Ben sighs, "something wrong?"
"Oh no." Mal shook her head, "I'm just worried about Carlos that's all."
Ben looked at his girlfriend, "Why are you worried? Did something happened?"
Mal shrugs as Evie walks in the diner with her aunt.
Evie and Zelena walked towards Carlos, Ruby, and Dorothy. Mal excused herself and went with the group to the back of the diner.
"We have to tell someone." Ruby sighs.
"And who will we be able to tell?" Zelena asked.
"Granny is out." Ruby states, "Gran can never find out. She'd worry too much and it won't do her health any good."
"Not to mention she might send me back." Carlos said glumly.
"And my mother's out of the question." Evie sighs.
"Then who Gold?" Mal asked.
Everyone made a face at that comment. "No!" they all said in unisons.
"If we tell him," Zelena sits down, "he'll surely tell Regina."
"Can we at least tell Jay?" Mal suggested, "Or Lili?"
"No," Evie paced, "we can't tell either one..." Evie paused, "The chances of my mom or Granny finding out is high so we can't tell them. We must swear never to tell. I'll face Cruella."
Zelena stood up and put her hand on Evie's shoulder, "Evie? Are you certain?"
Evie turns to face everyone, tears in her eyes. "No," she admits, "but its the only option we have."
Mal sighs, "She's right, we have no choice."
Zelena was not too happy about letting Evie go off and fight that mad woman, but Evie's right in this group she's the only one with power. The only one who can control their power.
Evie glanced at her aunt, "I'll be fine." she reassures.
Robyn walked towards her cousin, Evie picks her up. "Yeah, I'll be fine."
"I don't ..." Zelena started.
Evie interrupts, "We need someone with light magic and Mal's magic is dark. I, on the other hand, have light magic. I can do this and your pessimistic attitude is not going to stop me." "Mal?" Evie looks at Mal.
"Yes?"
"Remember you cannot tell Ben." Evie reminded.
"But..."
"I know you don't wanna lie to him," Evie sighs, "but do you think I like lying to Doug? I don't but I have to and so do you?"
"And no one tells Granny." Ruby nods.
"No one tells anyone." Zelena corrects.
"Cause were rotten..." Mal stated.
"To the core." they all said in unisons.
Evie chuckles, "I love how we all know what to say!"
Carlos cracks a smile, "How many times have we done this?"
"Too many times." Zelena responds.
"There is no way, you are facing her alone." Mal sighs, "You have one advantage that Cruella doesn't... us, friends family that have your back."
Zelena sighs in relief.
Evie frowned, "If you people join in you will die. At least if its only me, there will only be one casualty. Either me or Cruella."
"She's right the more of us there is," Zelena agrees with Mal, "it would be harder for her to concentrate on one target."
"Fine!" Evie exasperated, "Its your funerals."
