Jay's POV

As soon as we got to the mines I had a horrible feeling. I pushed it aside Granny was in trouble that wasn't the feeling. It was something worse.

"Where is Granny?" Ms. Regina asked.

Evie exhales, "Do you want him to hear us?"

With that Ms. Regina kept her mouth shut... until the lights went out and she yelped. "What happened?!"

Evie exasperated, "God! Mother, lights went out." Then Evie turned on her phone's brightness, and I swear I saw Evie roll her eyes. Then she squeals, "Something touched my leg!" dropping her phone.

Ms. Zelena chuckles but as soon as the phone hits the floor and the lights went on extremely bright she immediately grabs Evie's hand.

Evie glares at her aunt, "And you were saying?"

I sighed, "Why am I stuck with two faint-hearted little girls?"

Robyn then clung to her cousin's hand.

"Plus Evie and Robyn." I added as I ran behind the wall that separated the path of the mining carts and where we were.

Evie immediately picked her cousin and phone up and spun around following me. Just then I heard a loud boom, it was Jafar his voice was huge and deep. "Hoping you would come to save this pathetic wolf."

Ms. Regina made a fireball appear, "Let's torched this snake."

Ms. Zelena frowns, "Regina, we need to think this through."

Evie's, Ms. Regina's, and Robyn's head all snapped towards Ms. Zelena.

Evie shocked, "Who are you and what have you done to my compulsive aunt?"

"Haha." Ms. Zelena sarcastically said, "You aren't the most rational at the moment, so I have to step into the rational role! But we do need to think our next steps through, Jafar could kill Granny if we make a mistake."

Evie sighs, "Fine! So do you have a plan?"

"We need Mal."

"No," Evie was starring at the ceiling, "we don't." She smiles, "Come on," She tiptoes behind the minecarts and grabs a rope and a pickaxe. Tying the rope at the end of the handle and running back to us, she smiles, "Now watch the ceiling."

We all looked up and she threw the pickaxe five feet to the air landing on the arch bar the pickaxe made a kind of anchor. Said bar was right above Jafar, Robyn then snaps her little fingers and the rope had magically wrapped itself on the bar. Evie smiles at her young cousin. "Now." Evie whispers.

I didn't think I just ran up and carried Granny to safety as Evie pulled on the rope setting the whole mine to trample around us. I closed my eyes and opened it, we were outside the mines.

Granny let out a sigh of relief, "Thank you for rescuing me."

Ms. Regina looks at her sister and jokes, "I don't think they needed us, we could have just stayed in the car, sis."

"Next time let's just stay in the car." Ms. Zelena smirks at Ms. Regina.

Mal came running, "Evie! Jay!"
