"I love you." Evie said hopeful.
Doug and his halfbrothers turn around to find Evie under the moonlight. Doug dropped his pickaxe to Leroy. "Huh?"
"I love you, Doug." Evie repeated as she stepped closer to him, "I'm sorry that I didn't fight for you..."
Doug reached for Evie, silencing her. "I love you too!" Doug caressed Evie's cheek.
A single teardrop fell from Evie's eyes as she asked, "You do?"
Doug smiles, "I do. I really do."
Evie smiles as Doug leaned in for a kiss.
"Yo Cinderella!" Henry calls, "Ro and I will turn into mice. We need to go."
Evie turns around, "Remind her she owes me."
"Who does?" Henry asked, "Mom or Aunt Zelena?"
"Both of them." Evie smirks.
"What did Aunty ever do to you?" Henry asked, "Did she tell you about the guy?"
"Yes," Evie nods, "and unless she wants me to remind her everyday about the guy she'll take my side on this one."
Henry walks away, with a sigh.
By dawn Evie enters the mansion, Regina stood up with her hands on her hips, "Where have you been?!"
"Well first, I was with Doug we talked, then I went to talk to Mal." Evie said removing her shoes.
"Mal?" Regina asked, "Then you wouldn't mind if we call her?"
"No, not at all." Evie shrugs.
Regina picks up the phone.
"Hello E, did you forget something?" Mal answered groggily.
"Mal, it's me Regina." Regina said.
"Is everything ok?" Mal suddenly became alert, "Did Evie get home safe? I told her to just spend the night here..."
"Mal!" Regina says calming down the girl, "I just wanted to make sure that Evie was indeed with you earlier."
"Yeah, we just hang out at my place." Mal said.
"Mal!" Lili scolded, "Evie left a few minutes ago and now your already on the phone with her. Get some sleep!"
"It's the queen." Mal stated.
Regina sighs, "Good night, Mal."
Mal bids Regina good night before hanging up and going back to sleep.
Regina frowns at her daughter. Evie raises her right eyebrow. "We are not done." Regina states, "We will discuss this tomorrow, for now get some sleep."
Evie rolls her eyes.
