"But why does she have to leave?" Life whined as he clung to the bottom of my shirt.
"Because her family misses her. She's been with here longer this month than she's been home!"
I struggle to walk back the hallway seeing as Life has decided to attach himself to my leg like a koala bear does to a tree it's holding onto for dear life.
"You ready to go?!" Krista yelled from my room, which I was currently trying to get to.
"No! Never!" Life hollered, releasing me only to tackle Krista.
"Hey, don't worry little guy. I'll be back before you know it." She cooed, petting his hair.
"When are you coming back?" Life sniffled.
"I'll be back here Thursday and guess what?"
"Oh brother." I mumble to myself.
"What?" Life questioned, eyes shining with tears and curiosity.
"I'm bringing Pip and Spitz." Krista winked at me.
"Yayyyyyy!!!" Life cheered.
"Okay time to go." I grabbed Krista and ran for the door.
