"Do I haaaaaaave to go?" Life whined when I told him we had to go to the doctor.
"Yes. It's a check-up. Everyone is getting one."
"Noooooooooooo."
*Later at the Doc's office*
"Oh my gosh he's so cute!"
See my cousin walked in about five minutes after we did with her less than a week old baby boy.
"Can I hold him?" Life asked her.
"Um," She looked at me and I shook my head no, "Not today. He isn't a very happy baby today."
And as if to prove his momma's point he started bawling.
Life jumped back as if he had been burned, "O-okay."
"It's okay baby." I pet Life as he sat next to me shaking.
"Did I cause it?" Life sniffled.
"No, sometimes babies just cry."
"Life?" The nurse called.
"Coming!"
