"What happened to you?" Life cocked an eyebrow at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I slouched onto the couch.

"You look like you've been hit by a train."

"Oh yeah, well testing this morning and then we had a blood drive and the interesting thing was that my iron was too low so I got stuck in the finger three times and then I couldn't remember what shot I got in March, it was just a Booster by the way, so once I figured out what that was I finally was able to give them blood and it was great and then I bought some doughnuts and so far I've had four, do you want one?"

"Um, no thanks I'm good. "

"Then when we went to church and I passed out on the couch and then Krista wouldn't let me kickball OR basketball." I pouted.

"Oh you poor baby." Life mocked me but I was too tired to care, "Hey where are you going?"

"To bed." I said over my shoulder as I made my way to my room, "Don't follow me and goodnight."

Well Life never was a good listener.  After I was snuggled into my mountain of blankets and almost asleep he snuck in and laid in bed beside me.

"Are you going to donate again next time." Life questioned looking worried.

"Of course." I slurred out right before sleep took me under.
