Chapter 3: Trapped

-Trapped-

It's been a couple of days since I last interacted with Jay. As promised, I was served a meal in the morning and one in the afternoon as dinner. The meals weren't great but at least they were edible. I scanned his room and took in everything about it. Like how the room was big and manly, just like him. The poster wall was filled with framed photos of people. There was a king sized bed directly in the middle. The mattress was covered with sapphire blue quilts and sitting on top was a dozen or so pillows. Next to the bed was a small bedside table with some of his personal possessions. At night, he would come though those doors and come inside the room. He would then proceed to get changed into something more comfortable and slip into the bed, where I lie awake until he went to sleep. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pull me as close to him as possible. He could only go to sleep with me in the same bed. And then in the morning, he would leave at the crack of dawn without saying a word. That was the routine ever since I got locked in this room. A knock interrupted my thoughts as Aaron walked into the room holding a tray of food. He placed it on the small table next to me and smiled. He turned and began walking away but I held onto his wrist and made him sit on the edge of the bed. His hair was brown, kind of long, and straight, like Justin Bieber in his younger years; he was also wearing his usual ensemble of a t-shirt and jeans.

"Aaron," I said in a calm tone.
"Lexi," he said, using my same tone.
"How's is he doing?" He knew I was referring to Jay. As much as I hated him for locking me in his room and throwing away the key, I still had some feelings for him. Aaron sighed, and turned to me with a defeated look on his face.

"You know he's doing shit, Lexi. I know you do. He's hurting as much as you are. He's been yelling at everyone and treating us like crap. What the hell happened?" he asked, sighing again. He looked at me with tired eyes. I knew he wanted an answer.

"After you left with that bitch, we talked and then introduced ourselves to each other. He told me that I would be "punished" for running away from him. So he slung me over his shoulders and put me in here. What's going on? Why isn't he talking to me? I get that I'm a rogue but I'm his mate."

"Lexi, there is a lot of stuff that happened before he became Alpha. Stuff he doesn't like to talk about," Aaron explained.

"Alright, but what I don't get is, why he wouldn't just tell me what's going on? I have a right to know, don't I?" I asked, questioning Aaron, as well as myself.
Aaron stared at me, like he wanted to ask me a question, but wasn't sure if he should. I sighed and collapsed on the bed. The bed lingered with his scent. Sometimes when he had come into bed, I could smell that slut Alexis on him. I growled at the thought instantly. He wouldn't cheat, would he?

"No, he wouldn't cheat on you, Lexi. You're a sweet, beautiful and amazing person and if I didn't have a mate already, I would have taken you as my own," Aaron said sweetly. I smiled at the thought, but Aaron met his mate the day Jay locked me in here. He demanded that he sees me, but Jay didn't let him. Then he came in the next morning holding a tray of food and bouncing on the bed, waking me up immediately. He had such a happy face on and then he told me that he found his mate. She was a human who was being abused by her parents; and then was immediately was thrown into the supernatural world of werewolves. I could tell she was happy because of how much joy Aaron expressed. When Jay found out that Aaron had told me about Cassie, he was pissed off and didn't let Aaron bring me food for two days, but that was before I gave him a piece of my mind.
