Hey guys! Welcome back to Alpha and The Rouge. I hope you enjoyed last weeks chapter. I'm going to keep this short as i usually do :) This isn't edited and all the mistakes are mines and mine alone.

Chapter 20
Jay POV
I growled viciously as I pushed Lexi behind me. Jack and Freddie stood in front of us, smiling. Jack looked perfectly fine even after spending months in an underground cell having poison injected into his veins. I looked at Lexi, who was now growling at her father. How the hell do we have such fucked up dads?
“Protect mate at all cost” Christian chanted in my head.
“I’ll will. Nothing will happen to Lexi. No one will touch even if it is the last thing I will do” I said sternly to him. He kept pacing in my head. He was agitated. A lot
“Geezz son, tell your wolf to stop pacing. I can hear him from all the way over here” Jack said as he rubbed his forehead
“Plus it’s not like we are going to take your precious mate, we are here to give you guys a warning” Freddie said. A warning?
“About what” said Lexi as she took a couple of steps forward and swiped her claws out. It was a sign of protectiveness.
“Put your claws away honey, you have a mole inside your pack. He isn’t reporting to us or giving us any information. There’s someone else. Higher up. We used to work for him. It’s how we know each other”
“Stop with the sob story. Who is the mole?” I asked getting angry. I felt my anger being taken away. I looked down at my hands which was now covered with Lexi. I looked back up at her and smiled.
“We don’t know that. And I take it your both wondering how the hell I’m even alive?” We both nodded
“I think it was the first month after you had dumped me in there, I woke up one morning and saw that there was no tube in my arm. It was gone. Day by day, I slowly regained energy, but acted weak so I won’t get caught, by the guard wolves”
“That still doesn’t explain how you escaped? And without anyone even noticing” Lexi piped up.
“Well princess, no one detected him escaping because someone put a little wolf banes in their food. Just enough to make them go to sleep, but not to kill them” a voice said behind us as we whipped our heads. Logan strolled out ever so casually. I pushed Lexi behind me again, afraid he would do something to hurt Lexi.
“Oh don’t worry Charming, I won’t hurt your stupid mate” he said as he walked past us and stood next to our dad’s. He smirked and added” Plus we are supposed to leave soon. At last we can leave this boring land”
“Well, I would off kicked you out hell of your earlier if it wasn’t for- “
“The stupid law revolving around your land” Freddie finished off “Yeah we know. Trust me, we weren’t as happy to stay here as well. But your company is good. If it doesn’t work in the werewolf business, you can try being a hotel company instead”
I looked at him like he was stupid and crazy.
“Is he being serious right now?” Lexi asked me
“Yeah I think he is” I replied back “So who do you think the mole is?”
“Yeah actually don’t know. The thing is we need your help. The mole in your pack took something from me” Freddie said. His said with a hint of sadness
“What did he take?” Lexi asked
“Your mother’s necklace”
“Which necklace?”
“That necklace” Freddie said. I turned and looked at Lexi. Her eyes widen as she brought a hand to her mouth, in shock. I took a step towards her and bundled her in my arms. I felt my shirt becoming wet with tears. I looked at the men in anger and asked.
“What so special about the necklace?” I asked. I began stroking Lexi’s blonde hair, trying to comfort her.
“This necklace has the power to change the werewolf world in ways you don’t even want to imagine” Logan said.
“So what do you want me to do about it?”
“Let us stay for another couple of weeks and we will help you catch the mole”
“What do you want in exchange?” I asked, regretting the words as soon as they came out
“My daughter back” Freddie said with a sickening smile.
