Chapter 17

Rose’s POV

I looked at Lexi with wide eyes. This cannot be happening. Why now? My mind went into overdrive

Tyler

Jay

My heart started fluttering and beating a tad bit faster. I looked out window and gasped. My pack stood in front of the pack house in the form of a triangle with Jay being the point. The hunters were in the exact formation expect Tyler being point of their triangle and they were facing the pack house. Tyler glanced up and gave me a wink. I heard a gasp come from behind me. I turned around or well tried to but couldn’t with Lexi peering over my shoulder.

“He just winked at you!” I nodded “Does he have a death wish or what? Imagine if Jay at looked up as well. We wouldn’t be up here. We would be down there facing the wrath of big brother Jay” I chuckled slowly “I guess we have to go down there as well, don’t we?”

I was a nervous wreck. My palms were sweating like crazy. How will Tyler react? Does he even know that Jay is my brother? I mean, I did mention it didn’t I? My mind started racing back to when we first met. I had mentioned it, right? The sun blinded my eyes for a few seconds as we walked out onto the porch. Both groups turned their heads and looked at us. Awkward. Lexi walked down before me and embrace Jay with a peak on the lips and a hug. I looked at them with envy. Why does my life have to be so complicated? I forced my eyes up and instantly regretted it. I looked dead straight into Tyler eyes. He was wearing similar attire to what he was wearing this morning. His hair still looked disheaved just he had just rolled out of bed before he came. I saw the three men from his morning stand behind him with faces full of glee. If they fucking rat me out, I swear to god I will place their dick in their pockets.

“Hey boss isn’t that-“He didn’t have enough time to continue because Tyler had whispered something into his ear. His facial expression so fast, it was unbelievable. After he had finished talking, he had said something to the rest of the group behind the man. Jay had obviously heard what the man had started, so being my fucking brother and wanting to know everything, he had to fucking ask.

“Isn’t that what?” I shot fucking arrows into the back of Jay’s head and groaning quietly. Lexi looked backed at me and gave me apologetic look. I gave her small smile which not her not to worry about it because I would be chopping my brother’s head off tonight.

“Don’t worry about it” Tyler said in a grim expression which is something he shouldn’t of done. Because now Jay is now going to ask even more questions now.

“No, I will worry about because your right hand man said it right after my sister walked out with my mate” Oh for fucking hell.

“Sister?!” Tyler said. Oh so I guess he didn’t know. Oh so I guess he didn’t know. He looked at me with wide eyes. I bowed my head down in embarrassment as I walked down to the porch and stood in front of him. I stuck my hand out in front of me as Jay said

"Rose this is Tyler Ward, leader of the hunters. Tyler is my unavailable little sister, Rose". We shook hands lightly, afraid if we shook any harder, we would be able to control what happens next.
