~Revelations~
The room was a complete and utter mess. Papers were everywhere, maps were thrown all over the place, and cabinets were on the floor with dents in them. The walls also had big, gaping holes in them. Jay stood in front of the long table with his hands clenching the edge of the table. I could feel the intensity of his anger radiating off him and onto me. I was standing in front of the large doors, staring at the destruction that had happened in the room. I took a step towards him and whispered:
“Jay-"
“WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN!?” He roared, turning to face me. His eyes changed from his normal deep blue to an almost savage black. Christian was trying to take over and it was clearly working. I took some more steps towards him, but with each step, he would growl, warning me to stop. I ignored his growls and took another step so that I was directly in front of him. My hands were shaking as I lifted them up from my sides. When they reached his face, I gently stroked his cheek. I felt him lean towards my hands. Sparks flew inside of me as I began stroking his unkempt chin. I knew he could feel it too, but his eyes still hadn’t changed back to his normal color.
“Christian, I know you can hear me, okay. I know what I did was wrong and I want to apologize for it, but I had to do it to Jay. I had to. Could you let Jay be in control, please?” He let out a whine. “Christian, please.” I watched as his eye color slowly changed back to normal. I sighed heavily, fearing what would have happened if Christian was still in control. Jay looked at me and sighed. I looked away and took a couple of steps back step back. My shoes hitting the carpet which was crippled; I made sure to watch so that I didn’t fall.
“Where have you been?” he whispered. I could feel heartbreak, rejection, and fear with every word that he spoke. He dragged his hands though his silky black hair.
“I needed to get away for a few days,” I whispered back, quiet as a mouse.
“Where did you go?”
“The motel at the edge of the forest? The one which Bonnie owns,” The atmosphere was still filled with heavy tension.
“So you have literally been 3 km away from me and I’ve been going crazy thinking you had been taken,” He said, then muttering the word ‘unbelievable’. He looked into my eyes, staring into them like he wanted an answer but wasn’t sure if he would like it or not. “Why did you leave?”
I looked at him and scoffed. Like he doesn’t know why I left. I felt Snow running around in my head. That was her way of calming down. I guess she was pissed off, too, that he even asked that. I clenched my fists and my jaw tightened. That fricking asshole.
“Are you seriously asking me that? Like you don’t know why,” I fumed, turning around and looking at the door.
“If this is about Alexis-“
“OF COURSE THIS IS ABOUT THAT SLUT!” I roared. Snow was trying to take over control, but I kept her at bay.
“SHE HAS GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!” he yelled back, throwing his hands in the air.
“ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?” I asked, “ARE YOU SERIOUSLY DEFENDING HER? SHE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT CAUSED TROUBLE SINCE I’VE BEEN HERE!”
“AND YOU REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE A GUEST HERE AND SHE ISN’T!”
