Chapter 44

(I was going to post this yesterday but I have so much homework and classwork to make up. Well here is this chapter and sorry it kind of sucks. Only 6 more chapters left! -Sam)

“I have great news,” he says once he hangs up the phone.

“What is it,” I say quickly.

“Ashton is awake,” he says and I quickly run to the door but he catches my hand.

“Let me drive you because you are too tired to drive,” he says concerned.

“Get Kaila and Luke,” I say rather quickly and he begins to text them.

They come running down the stairs and we all get into a car. The drive to the hospital seemed like forever but once we made it I ran. When we got to his room I looked at him and he starred right at me, it almost felt too good to be true.

“Babe,” Is all he says before I run to him and embrace him in a hug.

“Don’t ever leave me again you asshole,” I cry.

I cried and the more I cried Ashton held me closer afraid to let go. I cried so hard and everyone got in and we had a group hug, I haven’t felt this happy in a long time. I’m glad, I’m glad that Ashton didn’t die, I’m glad that we can have a full family, and I’m glad that I know who my really friends are.

“I’m not leaving ever again,” he says and hugs me tighter, “When can I go home?”

“Let me ask,” Luke says and walks out the tiny hospital room.

After 20 minutes he comes back and walks over to us. “You can leave right now if you want,” is all he says. Ashton gets dressed into clothes and stands up; he stretches for quite a while before we leave the room. I don’t ever want to see the walls of a hospital ever again unless I have to give birth. Once we got home everyone sort of followed us instead of going their own ways. We all sat in the backyard and Michael started a bonfire, Kaila and Luke of course got food. I swear if they aren’t sleeping they are eating and that damn guest room they have been staying in is a mess.

“Michael you need a girlfriend,” Luke blurts out.

“I don’t need a girlfriend I have video games,” he says and sticks out his tongue.

“No you really do you idiot, video games aren’t going to suck your dick,” he says and everyone bursts out laughing.

“So what you have Kaila sucking your dick or nah,” Michael jokes.

“Fuck off,” Luke yells.

“That’s what I thought Lukey,” he says in a baby voice.

“Hey what’s going on out here,” We all hear before we stay silent.

“Why were we not invited to this little campfire you were having?” Alex says angry.

“I don’t want you here,” Michael blurts out.

“Shut the fuck up Michael go play video games or something seeing as that is the only thing you do right.” She says harshly.

“Don’t fucking talk to him like that,” Kaila defends Michael.

“Shut up homie hopper,” she smirks.

“Don’t talk to her like that,” Luke warns.

“Shut up Luke don’t you have someone else to cheat on,” she says.

“Get the fuck out,” Ashton blurts out.

“Why should I? I mean I am part of this group and I could report you whenever I want,” she smirks.

“Just fucking stop and you know the fucking rules you bitch,” I say harshly.

“Say it again bitch,” she jokes.

“B-I-T-C-H,” I spell out.

“Don’t call her a bitch,” Niall jumps in.

“Your rat started it,” I say.

“Shut the fuck up,” He says.

“Don’t talk to her like that you fuck sum bag,” Ashton jumps in and gets all up in his face.

“Maybe your bitch shouldn’t run her mouth,” he says.

“Maybe your bitch shouldn’t be a bitch, in plus it takes a bitch to know a bitch,” Ashton says and swings a punch at him, “bitch.”

“Whatever dumbasses you will get what you deserve,” Alex says before taking a bloody Niall upstairs.

“What the hell was that,” Michael says shocked.

“It was nothing, I mean he got blood on my knuckles,” Ashton jokes.

“That was funny and intense,” Luke says.

“Whatever it was dumb,” Ashton says, “Well I’m going to bed.”

“Me too,” he gets a mumble of replies.

We turned out the fire before going separate ways and into our bedrooms. What the hell was I going to do about this whole feud going on, I had made enemies with two couples, Melissa and Harry and Alex and Niall. I don’t know what I would do about it but I was sure as hell not leaving it alone.

I cuddled up to Ashton’s chest and heard his heartbeat. I don’t know what I was going to do about this drama that filled the air but I was scared, I Bell Irwin was scared. Who knows what they could be capable of and whatever it was I was scared.

“Stop overthinking things and go to sleep,” Ashton says tiredly.

“Who knows what they are capable of and it scares me,” I whisper.

“Nothing will happen okay,” he says, “We are going to be okay.”

“I hope so,” I whisper before going to bed.

I woke up in the middle of night because the bed was wet. I thought I peed myself in my dream but it wasn’t pee because it didn’t smell like it, then I was getting cramps but then I realized it isn’t pee and they aren’t cramps, I was in labor. (It's already 9 months so she is giving birth) I jump out of the bed and shake Ashton awake; he mumbles profanities and turns around.

“Ashton I am going into labor,” I scream but he still doesn’t wake up.

I grab my robe and put it on, I run to Kaila and Luke’s room but they don’t answer. I burst through the door and turn on the lights. They sit up in their bed tiredly and stare at me.

“I’M GOING INTO LABOR,” I scream.

“Holy shit where is Ashton,” Luke yells.

“He won’t wake up,” I say.

“C’mon I’ll get you in the car and Luke will get Ashton,” Kaila says.

Luke runs out the room and I’m guessing it’s to go wake up Ashton. Kaila grabs my arm and helps me down the stairs; I don’t see why we couldn’t just take the elevator. Once we get in the car I wait but also yell because of the contractions.

“Just breathe,” Kaila says and takes slow breathes as an example.

“Don’t tell me what to fucking do,” I yell.

“Okay then fuck you too,” she jokes and I glare at her, she throws her hands in the air.
