“I’m sorry I didn’t know what I was doing please forgive me,” He cries out.

“Save it Irwin,” I tell him.

He continues to try and hug but I just keep pushing him away. All I heard was a gun shot and I was going down.

“Yeah I’m going down,” I say and start to fall to the floor.

“We got a man down,” I joke.

Even though I was the one that got shot I was having the time of my life, I don’t know what was going but I was just having so much fun.

“Oh my god are you okay,” Ashton cries.

“Oh I’m doing great you should probably call the ambulance because I’m losing my sight.” I tell him and begin to close my eyes.

“Don’t close your eyes on me,” he demands.

“Eh its okay I’m doing great,” I say before shutting my eyes.

[ Ashton’s POV ]

Fuck I told her not to close her eyes on me and that is exactly what she did. This is the last thing I wanted and if anything I should have been the one who got shot. I turned around and my dad stood there shocked at what had did, his hand trembled and the gun fell to the floor.

“What happened? We heard a gunshot and got down here quickly as possible.” Calum says.

“My dad shot Bell, call the cops and the ambulance quickly Calum,” I said quickly.

I turned and my dad was still the same position as before, I don’t think he was blinking both because his eyes are wide open and tears were going down his cheek.

“What the hell did you do,” is all I say before charging at him.

I tackled him to the ground and began to hit him repeatedly. This was unforgiveable, I could stand all the things he did to me but shooting someone I love is not something you don’t do. I was being pulled off of him and I didn’t stop until I realized the cops were here, and Bell was being taken away. I got out of the cops grasp and ran toward the gurney Bell was being pulled away on, I grabbed her hand and once we got to the vehicle one of the men stopped me.

“Family members only,” he says.

“I’m her husband,” I say as if it was obvious.

“Oh okay then hop on,” he say and moving out of my way.

Once I get on my only concern was Bell surviving this accident. My dad was going to pay for this no matter how many illegal things need to be done; he will pay for doing this. At this point I couldn’t care if I got in trouble with the law because my main mission was to take him down. When we got to the hospital I rushed out and stood by her side the whole time until we reached the double doors with a sign saying “doctor’s only” after that I waited in the lobby. I paced back and forth waiting for some type of news whether it’s bad or good but I was praying it was good news.

After about 30 minutes all of our friends were patiently waiting in the lobby, everyone was anxious for some news and we didn’t get any type of news until about 2 hours or so of waiting. The doctor walked up to us and began to tell us what needed to be done.

“The good news is she didn’t die and the shot wasn’t that bad, the bad news is that she will need surgery but the surgery could lead for her to be in a coma for a few days due to lack of blood.” He informs us.

“Whatever it takes as long as she stays alive,” I say.

“Go home this will take long, get some rest and come back in the morning,” he says.

“I can’t leave without her,” I say.

“I recommend you get sleep and it’s your choice if you listen to me or not but just know it would be best if you went home.” He says.

Calum nods his head and drags me out of the hospital, by dragging me I legit mean dragging me out because I didn’t want to leave. I couldn’t leave because half, actually my whole heart was stuck in the hospital. I’m surprised I wanted to stay in there and be by her side even if she wasn’t awake because she would have done the same if she were in my position. That night I didn’t sleep because I just couldn’t knowing that Bell was in the hospital hurt when she should be here cuddling me.

The next morning I woke up early and drove to the hospital. As I entered her room I made sure I was quiet although I knew she wouldn’t wake up if I came in loudly. The heart monitor looked very normal but then it started to go rapid then go extremely slow. I took my time and started to speak.

“I know you can’t hear me but it’s worth a shot. I really wish that you didn’t get shot sometimes I think that maybe was the one that was supposed to be shot. I just want you to know that I really do love you and I will always love you even if it kills me to do so. I will be here for you no matter what you go through or how many times one of us goes into a coma. I really do love you and I hope you will always love me.” I start but never finish because her heart monitor goes flat.

I begin to panic and pace around until doctors came rushing in. I was pushed out despite trying to stay in. I was extremely scared that she wouldn’t make it but I couldn’t think that way, I had to think positive and that was the only way I would think. I started to grow extremely anxious as to whether she was alive or not.

“Mr. Irwin,” the doctor says.

“Yes doctor,” I say.

“She is-”
