[ Ashton’s POV ]

Everyone was in a great mood despite what some of us walked in on, Bell still wasn’t over the situation and I just teased her about because that’s my job. I knew she was still upset with but the thing was I was never really drunk when I told her she didn’t love me anymore but I had to pretend for her safety. This man was cruel and harsh and I wanted to keep his identity a secret, but I really did wish I could tell her who it was and why they said it.

“Hey Calum,” I start up a conversation.

“Hey Ash,” he says awkwardly.

“Dude its fine about the whole situation that happened last night the only one that is still freaking out about it is Bell.” I tell him and he sighs in relief.

“What should I do about it because you guys were supposed to be sleeping,” he says.

“It’s all good just let her deal with it,” I tell him.

“No I meant everyone basically saw my junk,” he laughs.

“Do you guys really have hardcore sex like that all the time,” I joke.

“Uh yeah we do,” he hesitates for a moment.

“I need to get Bell to let me do that to her,” I say but then quickly shut up as the girls make their way over to us.

“Calum,” Bell says,” Ashton.”

“Hey Bell,” Calum quickly say before sprinting away.

“What’s his problem,” she asks.

“He still feels awkward about what happened last night,” I inform her.

“I hope I’m not making it awkward for him,” she says, “I’ll go talk to him.”

She started to walk towards him but I grabbed her hand and pulled her into a hug. Her fedora almost fell off but I caught it and put it back on her.

“What are you doing Ashton,” she questions.

“What are you doing,” I joke.

“You realize I just dropped this soda on both of us and I’m going to kick your ass,” she says.

“Oh shit sorry about that,” I apologize, “C’mon let’s go get you out of your soaking clothes.”

She smiles before we head into the house and up the stairs, I still wonder why we don’t just take the elevator because it would be much easier. Something was off today because the people in this house were never this happy so clearly something bad was bound to happen. It’s upsetting knowing that your happiness is limited before something comes along to destroy it.

“Why is my office door open,” Bell questions.

“I don’t know but be careful something is a bit off about this day and I just feel it.” I warn her.

She pushes the door open and walks in with precaution, I knew that she had the same feeling because she didn’t seem to question when I told her about my bad feeling, most people would ask why I had that feeling but she didn’t because she had that same feeling.

“No one is here,” she says getting a bit more relaxed.

I took a seat at her office chair while she changed her clothes. I didn’t really mind the spilled drink enough to actually change my clothing. Once she finished changing we quickly got out of there making sure we locked the door before leaving. I grabbed her hand and kept her close by as we walked outside, once we were with our friends I let her hand go and started up a conversation with Luke and Calum.

[ Calum’s POV ]

No one has brought up the events from last night and I’m grateful for that because it’s too awkward to talk about. I have never been caught in the act so to be caught by my closest friends is extremely awkward. I don’t think Bell is over what happened last night but she hasn’t brought it up in a conversation.

“Time to eat,” Ashton yells.

We all take our seats around the long table, each chair had a plate, silverware, and a wine glass placed in front of it. So far no one has angered one another which I was grateful for because late everyone in the house is just not standing each other and getting into arguments. Alex and Niall actually joined us for this brunch which is weird because I thought Bell hated them but I guess not, Harry and Melissa were actually brought back into the house under one condition and that was to leave Kaila and Luke alone. I guess things were back to normal in some sort of twisted way, in other people’s eyes we would look like a bunch of killers trying to remain calm before someone exploded.

But without that sort of feeling no one would be at peace because that is how he resolved things by hurting each other even if it hurts. I guess that is what brought us together but we need these moments now because something in the near future was going to destroy this all and we would all be at lost.

“Thank you everyone for being here, we’re all like a big screwed up family.” Bell says and we toast to that.

We ate in silence and no one decided to start up a conversation scared to say something that would set someone off. I wanted there to be a conversation to relieve the tension that was floating in the summer weather. After dinner we all sat under a big tree for shade but this time there was conversation and most of the tension was relived. Sometimes the silence isn’t always the best option especially when there are already so many problems between some people.

[ Bell’s POV ]

The day actually went well and I was glad to spend it with everyone because I felt we lacked communication, and that’s why we were arguing so much. When I was walking up the stairs I could hear someone behind me but I thought I was just hearing things. Once I got up to the attic I slammed the door shut and when I turned around Ashton’s dad was sitting in my office chair with a black journal in his hand.

“Well isn’t this writing amazing,” he says slamming the book shut and placing it on my desk.

“What the hell are you doing here,” I ask harshly.

“Don’t pretend to act so hard because I know deep down you’re scared.” He says and gets up walking near me.

“Leave me alone,” I say.

“Why don’t you want to know that I told Ashton that you don’t love him anymore?” He says and that made me angry.

“Why would you tell him that,” I said.

“I told you at that very first meeting that I saw you, I would eventually get you and your friend but now there are so many girls to choose from at this house.” He says. “But don’t worry you’re on my A list.”

“Leave this house and leave us alone,” I scream.

“ASHTON!” I yell over and over again.

He slapped me across the face and started to drag me away before the door swung open with an angry Ashton.

“What did I fucking tell you about coming back here,” Ashton says in an angry tone.

“Son I’m just getting started,” he grins.

(Sorry I've been so busy to write these out and post them. I still plan to post the sequel this Friday. :) THANK YOU FOR GETTING ME TO MY GOALS! -Sam xx
