Old habits -Rayn-

Rayn was tierd of it.

Where is she where is she where is she!

He couldn't find her, and his body was beginning to weaken as the adrenaline began to wear off. Sweat caused his mask to stick to his face, and Evain reached out to grab him as he stumbled over into a glass piller.

"Rayn" He whispered, pulling up Rayn's body that was giving off large amounts of heat from his cloths. "Rayn you have to rest, you're going to kill yourself or get us caught"

Rayn couldn't answer, he only shook his head slightly, his black fringe dancing in his eyes.

"It's a Damn miracle we haven't been caught" Evain muttered, but of course as he said that guards voices could be heard approaching. "We have to hide!" He hissed, grabbing Rayn's arm and tugging him over to a dark corner. Rayn collapsed into his arms right as the guards passed. They turned the corner and then they were gone. "Rayn" Evain whispered, pulling Rayn up so he leaned aginst the wall, standing but barley. "You cant go on like this, you're too weak"

Rayn shook his head, but as he did his legs gave out and he slipped down the wall, the blood on his clothes staining the marble red.

"Rayn!" Evain rushed over and grabbed the weak man and proped him aginst the wall.

Rayn's eyes were drained, and he could feel the energy leaking out of his body.

Without thinking, Evain took his sword and ran it across his palm, the red leaking from the fresh wound "Here," he offered it to Rayn, who shook his head frantically. "It's the only way and you know it, you have to"

Rayn gulped, his eyes unsure. If he did it again, he could activate all of it all over again. He would have to dissappear all over again. But if he didn't, there was a chsnce he would die, and so would Amelia.

So Rayn slipped down his mask, and brought Evain's crimson stained hand to his cracked lips.

His throat burned.

I'm lucky if I ever see the light of day again.
My skin is choking me, the fevered walls are closing in.
A room of schoolers, their using me they're teasing me,
They told me so I didn't know the fall wouldn't be this easy.
How long in till it starts to do me in?
