Alex's POV
I walk into the jewelry store with Deluca. I am buying an engagement ring.
"There are so many to choose from," I say.
"These ones look nice," DeLuca says as he walks over to a case of rings with gemstones. I see emerald, diamond, ruby, and amethyst.
I choose a beautiful silver ring with the amethyst gemstone. It is purple and purple is her favorite color.
"Do you think she'll like it?" I ask.
"She'll love it."
I buy the ring and put into a box.
"When are you proposing?" DeLuca asks
"Tonight I will take her out for dinner then. We will go sit by the bay and I will propose then."
"That sounds pretty romantic."
"What if she says no."
"She's not going to say no she loves you too much."
We leave the store and go back to work. I see Jo working on a patient, and realize how beautiful she looks. I love her, and I suddenly get nervous.
I can't believe I might marry the women I love.
