7 weeks later
Alex's POV
I feel someone push me until I wake up.
"Jo, what's going on?" I ask groggily.
Jo turns on the light and lifts up the blankets to reveal blood on the sheets.
"Alex." she stutters.
"Oh God." I lift her up and rush her to the car. I quickly drive to the hospital. I look at her to see her crying.
I place my hand on her leg. "You're gonna be fine," I reassure her. We arrive at the hospital and I put her on a gurney and she is rushed to an OBGYN room. they have me wait outside. I think to myself I can't lose my baby.
The doctor finally comes out.
"You may come in," she says. I walk in to see Jo sitting at the table wearing a hospital gown. I sit on a chair next to her and hold her hand.
"So I have good news and bad news for you."
"Just tell us," Jo says.
"So the bleeding didn't do any harm to the baby, but you will have to have a c section." I smile and hug Jo.
