Jo's POV
"Jo Wilson, will you marry me?" I start crying.
"Yes, yes a thousand times yes." He lifts me up and we kiss. He puts the ring on my ring finger.
It is silver with a beautiful purple stone.
"This is beautiful," I say. I spend the rest of the night with my fiancé.
"So I was thinking we would wait till the baby is born before we have the wedding," Alex says.
"I think that would be best," I say.
We go home and have sex. I finally roll out of bed. Alex and I took the day off from work.
I look at my ring and smile. I look at how handsome Alex looks when he sleeps. I look at my belly and cradle the baby we will soon have.
I decide to call April and tell her the news.
"Hello," April says.
"April guess what happened last night," I say
"What?"
"Alex asked me to marry him."
"Omg did you say yes."
"Of course."
"I am so happy for you. But I have surgery talk to you later."
"Bye"
"Bye"
I wish this day would last forever. I can't believe I'm going to marry the love of my life.
