Killer

(A/N: Me: Yello! My OC will be appearing in this one! Love ya! I think I just made Killer a bit OOC in this)

Your POV 

I sighed, looking over to the railing as I looked over to my commander, Yumiko obviously bickering with Eustass Kidd, more like he's bickering with her actually. We were docking to restock and here we are, neck to neck with the Kidd Pirates. 

Commander was trying her best to not snap the redhead's neck, and keep her composure. I looked around to see Killer, Kidd's right-hand man looking over to Kidd with a sigh, I couldn't tell if it's a sigh but judging by how he saw his captain getting into a fight with commander definitely confirmed my guess. 

"What'cha looking at?" I jumped slightly, looking over to see our second-in-command, Kamryn standing with a teasing smirk. 

"Looking at Killer, (Y/N)? You got guts" she teased as I felt my cheeks flared up, the next thing I knew is the wall right beside us was smashed, and a blur of black made itself into my view. We turned our head to see our commander, lying on her butt on the ground. Teeth gritting as she stood up, and the shadow covering her eyes shows no sign of good news. 

I quickly jumped into the middle of the fight, lifting my (F/W) in the air, blocking her scythe and Kidd's metal fist. They were tough, too tough for my own good. 

"(Y/N) I trained you better than this, get out" I could hear my commander's venomous voice as I shook my head, and mustering all my strength, pushing them as they jumped and created a distance between each other. 

"I know both of you are ruthless, but for the love of god! This place was captain's favorite islands!" I subconsciously raised my voice, directly at my commander, her face doesn't show any signs of surprised by my words. 

Shit.

I finally realized what I just said, it was an unspoken rule between the 3rd Division to never talk back to the commander unless it's necessary, and here I am, talking back to her, as if I'm defending the enemy. 

Darkness loomed around us as the next thing I knew is her dark blade almost inches away from me. A force pushed me back, but into the arms of another. I looked up to see the masked killer, Killer. I looked over to see Kamryn's blade whip made contact with Yumiko's blade and pulled both the weapon and wielder away from me. 

They turned to each other, before bickering, Kamryn mostly took all the sarcasms dripping from Yumiko's lips, but she's doing it for my sake. Yumiko turned to me, the darkness had faded away before she sigh. 

The next thing I knew, Yumiko has crashed her lips on Kidd's cheeks. Red invaded him as he turned to her, obviously flustered as they continued on bickering. I looked up to Killer, as he loomed down at me. 

"Are you okay, Miss..." 

"(Y/N)" 

"Are you okay, Miss (Y/N)?" I giggled at how soft he is, I found my balance and stood up, thanking him as he rubbed the back of his neck. For once, both of us blushed just being in front of each other. 

Later

"Ehh?! Are you sure, commander?" I turned to see the usually stoic-faced Yumiko, smiled for a bit. We overdue our stay in the island, even though the log pose has been set. 

The reason I'm shocked right now is that she's letting me go, I don't know why but she's obviously plotting something but she never do something to this extend. 

"But wh-" 

"The reason we're overdue our stay is because some of us though you being with Killer is much better than with us, and knowing Kidd won't let Killer go, I decided to let you go, if you're willing to leave us, that is" she stated, a slight sadness lingers in her voice as I turned my head to see the Kidd Pirates waiting for me. 

"Both me and Kidd has discussed about it and he's agreed to make sure nothing happens to you, and both him and Killer will be responsible if anything happens to you" she stated once more, a hand on her waist as I stared at her, still speechless of what had happened. 

I felt a hand intertwining with mine, looking up to see Killer standing there, he looked like he's about to go into a war, but with Yumiko's status of course being in front of her is like going to the war. 

"I'll take full responsibility" Killer stated as I turned my head, Kamryn was standing beside Yumiko, obviously nodding at his choice of words. 

"And I'll make sure she'll be the most happiest woman alive" he continued on, as Yumiko sighed, placing a small vivre card obviously hers into my palm, and placed a hand on my head. 

"Be careful, and remember what I taught you..." 

"You sounds like a mother, Miko" Kamryn chuckled at Yumiko's words as the woman sighed, before giving me one more look, in which I nodded, understanding her as they slowly retreated. 

"Bye, (Y/N)!!" 

"We'll miss you!" 

"I'll kill you if you hurt her, Killer!!!" 

Okay, that last one may came from Kamryn herself but I chuckled seeing how tensed Killer was at her words, I tightened my hold around his fingers as he sighed before turning my head to see a smirking Kidd, looking like he had won a bet or something. 

"Wait, you planned all this?!" I shouted, finally registering why he had smirked. I turned my head to see the ship had long left us, leaving me shocked.

Well, that was short and this week has been cruel to me, who would have though about learning additional math for 3 hours?! I've been cramming this head for the exam coming up and I might not update since I'll be on my camping trip in another week! (Not like I always update or anything)
