Your POV

When I said, I am sick. It doesn't mean that I'm dying but for a certain someone.

It is.

The burning feelings coming from my throat told me the upcoming cough, and it di"d. In front of others-scratch that-in front of hundreds of men. All in one certain, fearless and most intimidating crew.

The Whitebeard Pirates.

All eyes trailed towards me as I could feel something crawling up my spine. They had worried glances and some even asked if I get my treatment, in which I respond with a simple "yes".

Obvious lie.

My beloved fiance, boyfriend and also soon-to-be-husband was like the cook of the crew. It's no surprise that he too was glancing my way with worried glances, but his glances were followed by a paled feature and jaw dropped.

"It's not that ba-"

Before I could even finish my sentence, my body was hoisted up and thrown over someone's shoulder. I could only grabbed onto whatever I could get my hands on and in this case, clothing. I groaned inward as I felt the familiar scent of charcoal, and some ingredients used for cooking.

"T-thatch! Stop! You're gonna make me puke!"

And with that, the whole crew heard my screams as the pompadour haired male literally stopped in his tracks and I was sent flying over the railings, I pray to whatever god was up there to save me and I thanked them for such an amazing lif-

"You okay, yoi?"

I opened my eyes to met with Marco's bored ones, I literally latched onto him as he flew and landed safely back onto the ship.

I turned my head and glared at the previous man who had hold me like a potato bag. He chuckled awkwardly as I let out a series of terrible coughs. In which the protectiveness within Thatch was unleashed and I was tagged towards the Med Bay.

He stayed by my side as the doctors told me that it was normal and I shouldn't play at the snow island ever again, without comfortable clothing in which this time I literally wore very thin clothing. Courtesy of challenging Ace on who can hold the cold longer, he won.

I smiled as I saw Thatch came in with a tray of goodies, he laid the tray over my lap and placed the back of his palm over my forehead, he sighed before kissing the said forehead in attempt to cool it down.

He's such a sweetheart.

"Come on, sugarpie!"

I take it back.

I sighed as I take actually delicious soup into my mouth, the warm fuzzy scent made it felt like I'm melting into Thatch's hands. He's such a great cook and such a great man. I would trade anything for just having this moment with him. I loved him far too much for this to end.

"I love you, Thatch.."

His smile seems to brightened at the words, in which he responds back with the same sincere and happy smile. I should stay by his side in which our vows were suppose to do, planning the upcoming wedding with such great lengths.

"I love you too, (Y/N)"

He's the most excited about the event, and I wish I could capture that smile and that words in my memories forever without no ends.

I just wish it didn't up the last thing I remembered...

Oh, Thatch...

I love you...
