I had lost track of time. It was completely dark outside that I could see but everyone was still having a blast.

Alex had gone to get us more beers and I felt a bit tipsy. Not drunk. Tipsy.

Some random song was playing and my hips were moving in sync to the beat.

Elijah just seemed to look down and up at me a few times.

I grabbed his hand and twirled around. My back was now against his chest and his hand was at my hips.

He didn't seem to mind and honestly neither did I.

"Stupid fucks! Get your drinks!" Alex handed one to me and may. Elijah didn't drink because he volunteered on taking us home.

I faced Elijah and placed my hands behind his back.

"Seems like you got the hang of it." I spoke loud enough for him to hear me throughout this blasting music.

"Not complete dance moves but you are moving along so that's good." I leaned in and whispered in his ear.

He smiled and I realized how close our face was. Just inches apart. I took advantage of the situation and observed all his flaws and imperfections. He had a few cuts that weren't as visible, but they were there. I looked into his eyes and the light shade of blue was satisfying to look at.

God I just wanted to kiss him.

I broke my gaze away and took a sip of my untouched beer bottle. The bottle made contact with my lips and I tilted my head back making the substance flow into my mouth and down my throat.

I gulped it all down and started dancing again. One dance started playing and as much as I wanted to sit down, my hips were moving.

I looked around to see Alex and may walking away probably to take a break.

Elijah's hands were still on my small hips. His hands worked perfectly with my moves. I turned around and slowly started grinding on him, still managing to keep a slight distance between us.

He leaned now with his neck on my shoulder. I felt his breathing against my exposed skin causing goosebumps on the spot. He was so close to felt him smiling probably noticing the effect he had on me.

This felt so wrong. he was a complete stranger.

I turned to him and told him I wanted to join the rest. I started walking away from the sweating bodies, away from the dance floor.

May was sitting on jacks lap full on make out and Alex was having a conversation with this Damon guy.

I noticed him smiling.

This guy smiles??

I turned to Elijah and he seemed to have replaced his smile with an annoyed face. He sat down and unlocked his phone.

I went to where Alex and Damon were to find my heels.

They were where I had placed them and I grabbed them. I decided to go back to Elijah and talk to him and on my way there, I sent a wink to Alex and she cheekily smirked.

I sat down next to Elijah and continued putting my shoes on.

"So Elijah. Took me a day or so to get your real name. Was it that hard to say it?" I looked back at him, sitting down properly on my chair giving him my full attention in hopes I would change his mood.

"Oh but what would be the fun in you finding about it by yourself?"

"Who said I was even interested in finding about you?" I tilted my head giving him a slight smirk.

"No one did. I can straight out tell doll." He got closer and wrapped his right arm around my shoulders. I blushed at his statement.

"Impossible. I could care less about you. I barely know you." I turned around to face him. That cocky smirk of his was still showing.

"And its better if it stayed that way."

"Why?" I asked.

Good job in seeming uninterested.

Before he could even reply, gunshots were heard from somewhere making everyone yell and run in different directions.

"Because of that." He said.
