"Hurry up doll. I have things to take care of." Elijah said turning back on his heal and heading towards his car.
I looked around to see if my sweater was in sight. It was nowhere to be seen and the wheather today was not pretty.
"Oh just take my hoodie. Just be sure to bring me back some tacos." May threw her sweater at my face and I quickly ran out the door to catch up with elijah.
I closed the door behind me. More like slammed it. Elijah started the car engine on and I tripped on my untied shoe lace. Before I could fall down and scrap myself, I pulled myself back and saved myself.
I just hope elijah did not see anything. Not that I care or anything.
I unlocked the car door and took a seat on the passenger seat.
I expected elijah to ride off but instead he started laughing.
"Why the hell are you laughing?" I said looking at elijah.
"God. You are pretty clumsy you know? Just make sure to tie your shoes. I would not want you ruining your pretty face. More than it already is basically." Elijah said while turning on the radio station.
"Wow who knew you would be a total dick. At least you are not in such a pissy mood anymore." I turned back to elijah only to see his jaw was clenched and he was back to being serious.
What a way to kill a mood. I was just thankful that some random station was on so that silence would not be filling the air. Not at least until we drove some place to go eat.
A few moments later....
We had arrived to some italian place just a few blocks down the city mall.
I looked around the place. It was not to big but not too small. It was welcoming.
The place was filled with sayings that were in french. Or so I am guessing. There was a few people here and there scattered around the place which explains why it was not that loud or crowded.
My thoughts were interupted when a lady in her mid 40s came towards us. "Elijah it is so lovely to see you again. " She was a short women who barely reached up to hug elijah. He looked pretty relieved to have seen her too.
"Dianne. How are you gorgeous? I missed you so much." He said leaning down to hug her back.
I awkwardly stood there playing with my fingers, unsure of what to do.
"What brings you here son? Back for my special plate? I knew you would miss it." The women whos name was dianne let him go and as much as I felt uncomfortable standing there like a third wheel, she seemed pretty happy about seeing Elijah again. Her face was glowing with so much hapiness that Elijah did not even seem pissed anymore.
Bipolar much.
"I missed you too. Oh and I am back here because I have some unfinished business to take care of. I also came back because I brought someone in for a meal." He said smiling even bigger and then looking back at me.
"Oh my god she is so pretty. Oh god I have to bring Lily in her." Dianne came towards me only to hug my waist and screamed out again.
"Lily. Bring the camera out. He finally brought a girl over!" She started clapping her hands until Elijah stopped her.
"No no dianne. She is someone I just met. I am just being polite-"
"Louez le Seigneur. Oh, louez le Seigneur." I turned around and coming through the staff room, a old gorgeous little lady came out rolling her wheelchair.
"Nan. Cut it out. She is just a friend." Elijah looked a bit embarrased. I mean I was too. This place was a bit hot and me being nervous did not hide the fact that my cheeks were pretty much becoming a red shade.
"Coupez avec le taureau. C'est ce que vous dites maintenant mon fils." Despite me not understanding what in the world they were saying, the lady in the wheelchair seemed to have a joyful smile plastered on her face too.
"I see dianne has taught you a few words huh." Elijah just rolled his eyes back and I lean closer to him to try and tell him I felt extremely out of place.
"Yeah. She also taught me what the word savage meant." Dianne could not hold in her chuckles as much as she could and at this point I was laughing a bit too.
"Oh god please no. Just get me what i always get." Elijah started walking towards a table of two near the corner of the restraurant.
"Well what about you doll? What would you like?" The old lady in the wheelchair said to me.
"Um well I will have whatever he is having." I said flashing a smile back at her.
"No problem darling. Go join him. After all, it is very rare he brings any girl here besides his apartment bedroom. If you know what I mean." Immediatly, I cringed inn the inside just imaginning the amount of girls he has taken in his room before. I mean can you blame him? The guy is pretty hot but honestly, I was not feeling as hungry as I was before.
"Well um thank you ma'am."
"Oh please. Call me lily." Dianne and her entered the staff door and I had no other choice then to go take a seat with elijah.
Was it to late to run back home?
As I started walking towards Elijah, he was looking down at his phone. He put it away as soon as he saw me coming forward.
"Well um, that was pretty unexpected." I said resting my hand on the table waiting for him to say something.
"Yeah. Lily is my grandma and dianne, well she is my aunt." I was pretty shocked because they did not look like him at all. Elijah had crystal clear blue eyes and both dianne and lily had hazel eyes.
"Oh well. Where is your mother?" I asked him backing up from the table.
"She died when I was only twelve." He grabbed the water bottle infront of him and I watched as he drank it up in silence.
"Oh im- I did not know. My apologies." I regretted asking him a simple question I probably should not have asked him.
"No worries. You were going to find out soon."
"Um well what about your father? I am pretty sure you both get along very well." I said.
Elijah simply looked down at the table and before he could finish what he was about to say, dianne came back to place our food down the table.
"Well kids, I hope you enjoy. Just call me if you need anything. " She placed varius of drinks down to and flashed me a wink before walking away.
I grabbed the nearest water bottle and started drinking up too.
"Love, who do you think was the one that attacked us last night?"
