Blue bright eyes were staring back at me. For a second I forgot we were in line with a whole bunch of people still waiting to enter. I probably looked like a fool and I'm pretty sure I was drooling over this precious human.
The lights around helped me see his features better . His face was serious yet looked calm and peaceful. His jawline was carved perfectly and made him look like something i had never seen befor-
"Babe, you can drool about me later but right now we need to get going." I realised the guy was talking to me wrapping one of his arms around my shoulder and the other hand was pulling out some sort of card and showing it to the security guard.
"But-" before the security guard even finished his sentence, the stranger himself opened up the door for me. I hadn't even stepped in completely and the beat of the song playing was vibrating off the walls and could be felt on the ground we were on.
I stepped in and looked around to see the place was full of life. Everyone seemed to be having a good time which made me happy to be here.
I felt the stranger put his hand behind my back guiding me somewhere. It was only until when we reached a realised he brought me to get a drink.
I turned around to face him just to see him staring back. Not awkward at all
"Well I just want to thank you for making sure I got in. Honestly no one would have done such a thing and even if I live close by, I didn't feel like walking back. I really needed a drink so thank you. Very much." I said plastering a smile on my face.
"Oh and I'm Sabrina." I extended my hand out to him and he accepted it.
"Well Sabrina . I am delighted. It's not everyday you get to see such beautiful people around." I was still staring at him and made sure to turn my gaze down the floor because I felt my cheeks heat up. Hell we were still holding hands which only caused my cheeks to feel twice as hot. His accent was intriguing. It suited him. It just got me more curios about him.
"So you are delighted? I'm pretty sure that isn't your name." He let my hand go and I stepped back.
"No. It's not. But it's better if you don't know my name yet." Yet? What does that mean?
I felt a bit torn he didn't say his name but hey here we were and boy did I feel like getting something strong to block out the thoughts that were starting to invade my mind again.
"Well again thanks a lot. I better go get a drink. I need it." I started walking towards the bartender to order my drink. I didn't even notice "delighted" was following me.
"Hello pretty lady what would you like to drink?" The bartender leaned against the isle dividing us gaining my full attention. I looked at the name tag he had hanging from his shirt and it read Jacob.
"Well Jacob." I said taking a seat down.
"Just get me a classic martini." Jacob smirked and was about to walk away to get my drink when someone else from behind spoke and said "Get a cold beer too."
Jacob started walking away again and I saw that "delighted" had taken the seat next to me.
I'm just going to call him delighted from now on.
"Well hello again stranger. Missed me already?" I placed my clutch down and looked at him.
He chuckled a bit before replying back "you are quite funny might I say. I came back cause i couldn't find my friends."
"Sure that's the real reason. Anyways what even brings you here. You don't look like the type who likes going out to places like this."
Jacob came back with our drinks and kindly smiled at me without saying anything and left once again.
"Well you see sometimes its good to go out. I mean you dont look like the kind to go out either but then again I don't know you so I might be completely wrong." I took a sip of my drink. I closed my eyes and tilted my head back in pure bliss. This drink was sure really good.
"You are absolutely right. Everyone needs their own time. I obviously came to get a drink with my friends but they haven't arrived yet and to my luck I left my phone."
Delighted did not even get to reply back before our attention was caught by the whistles and cheers coming from infront. I turned around to see my two best friends obviously making a huge entrance. Like always.
They both hadn't spotted me yet and when alex did she screamed out my name like a crazy person.
Even from afar I noticed something funny.
She was drunk.
