Elijah puffed a cloud of smoke out as he waited for my response.

"Who's hoodie is that?" He asked once more. I had heard him loud and clear. Honestly, I just wanted to piss him off.

"It's actu-" I couldn't even get a full sentence out before he interrupted me again.

"I'm joking." He said as he laughed. "Do you actually think I care about who it belongs to? You're free to wear what you want." He said letting the cigarette in his fingers meet his lips.

I fake coughed as he let another cloud of smoke out and I gave him a really fake smile before saying anything else.

"Okay well why are you here anyways?" I really didn't mean to sound annoyed. Even though I actually was. I don't even know why I'm feeling annoyed. I got more annoyed because I didn't know why I felt annoyed.

He laughed once again.

"Woah woah. I came to see how you were doing." He said smiling back too.

Despite the fake sweet innocent smile he gave me, he was smoking. And he rarely does that. At least when I'm around. It wasn't difficult to notice that something was bothering him. And the only thing that came into mind was that he was here for business.

It hurt.

A wave of sadness washed over me as I realized that he was most likely here because of anything new he or one of the guys must've found out.

I had not realized that my thoughts had gotten the best of me as I drifted away and got lost in the cracks of the hallway floor.

"Hey. Are you okay?" He asked as he took a step even closer. He was so close that if I looked up my head would probably hit his chin.

I took a step back before looking back at him.

"Yea. Sorry. What did you say?" I asked.

"Nothing um I just wanted to see you." He said as he stepped on what was left of the cigarette.

He looked back up at me and it looked as if he had meant it. I believed him.

"And well because we have to go over some things for the meeting." He said as he glanced around us quickly to see if anyone was near or in sight.

"Oh." Was all I could say.

"But I see that you're busy. So I'll just meet up with you tomorrow. The sooner the better." He said as he looked behind me at the open door to my apartment.

"Yea but it's late anyways. They'll be asleep in a little. We can go in my room and discuss about it. If you want." I said the last phrase with a little bit of hope. I don't even know why I felt the temperature drop. Everything suddenly started feeling hot.

"Us? In your room? Dont want them thinking that we're doing something we're not supposed to." He said as he put his hands in his leather jacket.

He looked really good. Everything he had on was black expect the white shirt he wore under. The outfit looked pretty basic but I'm sure it was worth more than what I pay for my apartment.

"Wouldn't do anything when people are outside the door." I said just about to turn around.

"Oh well then if you don't mind, let me kick them out." Before he took a step further I placed a hand on his stomach to stop him from going any further.
