Harris turned around to face a worker.

"Find a way to get another code in the system. I'll arrange another meeting after I finish." The worker looked at me and simply turned his heel and exited the office.

"My apologies. These incidents have occurred a lot in the past months. But here's the key. I hope you find your space quite comforting. I'm expected to turn in an article in the next weeks so I'm going to need help with that." He said as he opened the door up for me.

I walked into the room and it looked clean and tidy. I wondered if he had kicked out the person who had this office before or something.

The office was a bit bigger than my room. I saw a small black sofa at the corner of the right side of the room and my desk was planted in the middle. There was a small rug where the desk was underneath. A small chandelier hung from the center of the room. I think what captivated me the most was the huge window in the office. Literally, the window was a wall in the office and as I walked towards it, you could see the view of the city.

I think Harris noticed my slight smile because he said "ah yes. The view is pretty nice."

Literally no one asked, but okay.

I turned around to face him and thanked him. I told him I'd get started on the article and with that he left to a so called meeting.

When he closed the door behind him, I took a step closer to the storage boxes and decided to open the only one that wasn't closed tightly.

The only thing inside them were old fax papers and manuals.

I took a seat and took a moment to take everything in. Honestly this seemed like something straight out of a movie. I simply just laughed.

I placed my bag and laptop on top of the desk.

I decided that i didn't have anything big to do today other than get comfortable and set up my computer password.

-

I don't know how long it had been, all I knew was that it was getting pretty late.

The sun was now setting and the rays of the sun were hitting off the window onto the floor.

I pulled my phone out of my purse and noticed it was 6:30.

I figured i might as well go home. Harris hadn't gotten back from wherever this meeting had taken place and I really didn't care either. If God wanted me to go home then I'm going to go home.

My feet felt really sore too. So as quickly as I could, I grabbed my stuff and turned off the lights in the office. I closed the door behind me and made my way downstairs.

I grabbed my car keys and unlocked my car.

Before I knew it, I was in front of my doorstep.

I threw my stuff on the sofa and decide to text the girls and see if they could come over. May texted the group chat 5 minutes later saying we could come over to jacks and order pizza and that's exactly what we did.

-

Alex decided to pick me up from my place so after I finished changing into something more comfortable i ran out the door.

She asked me how my first day had gone. And honestly she seemed more nervous than I was but once I told her not much had happened she let it go.

We got to jacks house and parked in the entrance.

We were right on time as the delivery guy was exiting the property. He hadn't seem to notice us as he bumped into us.

"Im sorry excuse me." He said. I looked directly into his brown set of eyes and told him it was no big deal. He kept looking at me and smiled before proceeding to get into his car.
