KARAOKE NIGHT PART 1

BETTY'S POV

Tonight was karaoke couples night at the Blossoms. At first I didn't want Cheryl around, but she's trying to be a better person so I thought why not giver a chance to redeem herself. Plus her house is bigger and better than everyone else's in this town.

"Elizabeth, I need you to-what is going on?" my mom asked storming into my room as usual. This woman just doesn't know how to knock.

"I'm going to karaoke night at the Blossoms with Veronica," I said fixing my ponytail in front of my mirror. My mom looked taken aback and I just smirked and continued fixing my hair.

"What have I told you about those girls? They are bad news!" she huffed crossing her arms.

I rolled my eyes and got up from my seat. "Well Ronnie's my girlfriend and Cheryl's my friend,"

"Girlfriend? Elizabeth we should really discuss this! I warned you about those girls and-

"Not tonight, I'm gonna be late," I said cutting her off and I grabbed my phone and rushed downstairs.

I hate being like this towards her, but everything I do is always wrong in her eyes.

I texted Veronica I was outside, and waited a few blocks down from my house.

VERONICA'S POV

I was finishing up my makeup when I got a text from my Betty.

BettsCooper: finally out of hell come get me! xo

I left my room and saw my mom sitting on the couch.

"Mija, where are you going at this hour? On a school night!?" My mom, Hermione, said getting up from the couch with a stern look on her face.

"I'm going out with my friends, is that ok?" I snapped. She has no right to stop me from having fun after everything that's happened with my dad, Hiram.

"Fine, but we are going to talk about this behavior of yours after tonight!"

I sighed in reply and went to the front of my building where my driver, Smithers, was waiting in the car. He knew where Betty's neighborhood was, and drove off. When the car stopped in front of the corner where she was, I eyed her outfit up and down. My girl looked hot.

"Is that...red lipstick?" I asked as she slid in next to me in the back and she smirked in reply.

"Sure is, do you like it?" she asked and I nodded and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "So, is jarchie meeting us there?"

I laughed knowing Betty is basically the captain of the ship. "Yes, Kevin drove them there with his boyfriend Joaquin, who we're finally meeting tonight," I replied.

"Great, this is gonna be fun!" Betty exclaimed. I smiled at my girlfriends cute expression, and told my driver the directions to the Blossom's.

Once we got there, Cheryl invited us in.

"Welcome to Thornhill!" she exclaimed with a rare and real smile on her face.
