------------------------------------------------------

Mick ran into the hospital, practically zooming past Craig to get to the front desk.

Craig was calling behind him, telling him to calm down, but Mick didn't listen.

He couldn't. The love of his life was in jeopardy, how could Craig be so calm about it?

But the question left Mick as he arrived at the front desk, having a full-blown anxiety attack in front of the young man in front of him?

"Where's Sid?" He boomed, his fists clenching when the man began to stutter.

"I-I don't know who you're talking about sir."

"Just look up his name god dammit!" Mick replied as more waves of panic coursed through his body.

"Mick calm down!" Craig shouted from behind him, firmly putting his hand around Mick's broad shoulder.

Mick whirled around to look at his silent friend, tears brimming in the corner of his eyes as he said. "I can't lose him Craig."

"And you won't." Craig replied, "You just need to stay calm."

Stay calm, Mick thought, stay calm.

Just then, Mick noticed Paul, Corey, and Jim enter the building. And the three of them were as scared as Mick.

Craig seemed to take matter into his own hands as he walked up to the front desk, talking to the young man in a more civilized manner.

"Thank you." Mick heard Craig mutter quickly to the boy, before he turned towards the group of men.

"He's undergoing surgery right now." Craig hesitated for a minute, then added, "It's really bad."

Mick couldn't think. He couldn't hear the rest of his friends fume and stress over the situation, he couldn't feel Craig tugging on his shoulder. He couldn't feel anything.

"Mick." Craig said for the third time, knowing that he wasn't listening.

Eventually, Mick turned took at Craig, his tears falling freely.

"What Craig?"

Craig tried to hold in his tears. "U-uhm...I-I didn't wanna say this in front of everyone else but..." Craig sighed and rubbed his eyes, "They think that he might be in a coma."

Mick wasn't sure when he had completely collapsed against against the tiled floor below him on a complete raging mess. But when it happened, each friend tried getting him to calm down.

But it was no use.

Mick didn't care how vulnerable he looked at that moment, he didn't care that his friends were trying to pull him off of the ground, he didn't care about the girl he thought he still loved.

He only cared about Sidney. And the fact that the love of his life was going to die.
