Since Jay was fifteen years old, he had always had a crush on Corey.
He didn't know how to describe it. That charming smile and goofy attitude just always made Jay weak in the knees.
When Jay was fifteen, he met Corey backstage at a Slipknot concert.
When Jay was fifteen, Jay didn't know what his sexuality was.
When Jay was fifteen, he wanted to be with Corey Taylor.
But what about now? Jay sat in the hospital, wishing desperately that he could curb this crush that he had for Corey.
He still felt like shit. Not really physically anymore, but more emotionally.
He sighed. If Corey beat him just because he was in his presence, he would most likely kill him if he found out about Jay's secret attraction towards him.
Maybe he shouldn't join Slipknot after all...
Just then, a knock on the door broke his train of thought.
He looked up and saw a nurse standing before him.
"Someone brought you flowers." She said with slight boredom, before setting them on the table beside him.
Confused, Jay grabbed them softly and twirled them around in his hands. His confusion only increased when he saw that there was a note taped to the plastic.
I'm sorry. It read in sloppy handwriting.
Jay's heart fluttered. He had enough signed posters to know who this note was from. He didn't even try to hold back his grin as he continued to stare at Corey's script.
Maybe I should try joining Slipknot again. He thought before the nurse came back and attended his wounds.
