"I don't know if I can go in there..." Mick whispered to Clown uneasily.

Sid was finally up for visitors, and Mick nearly topled over someone trying to get to his room.

But now that he was there, he was having second thoughts...

He felt a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry man. The problems you two had beforehand won't matter now. You two need to focus on only each other."

Mick looked at his friend warily. "I don't know man, I'm not sure if he hates me or not."

Clown snorted. "Oh please, the kid is fuckin' smitten for you. I'll bet in the first five minutes you two will be sucking each others faces off."

Mick blushed darkly. "Shut up..." But he knew that was likely.

He remembered when he first took Sid out. The two didn't even pay attention to the movie they were watching. They were too wrapped up in eachother to notice what was going on around them.

Mick would never forget his first date with Sid. The two of them completely carefree and smitten as they kissed among the movie theater lights.

For a while, he thought that their first date would be their last as well...

"Alright, I'm going in." Mick said breathlessly, and knocked twice on the door.

Mick waited a moment after that, giving Sid time to prepare before entering the room.

The worst part was that Sid didn't know that it was Mick who had came to visit. He had assumed Mick didn't care.

Just then, Mick slowly opened the door. And almost immediately, he and Sid's eyes locked.

No words were uttered between the two for a couple of seconds. But soon enough, the tears were flowing.

"M-Mick..?" Sid whispered, shock and relief laced in his voice.

"Hey Sidney." Mick mumbled as he shuffled towards the hospital bed. "H-how are you feeling?"

Sid inhaled shakily. "I-I'm feeling o-okay...wh-wha..." Sid couldn't even finish his sentence. He was emotionally exhausted. Not only was he in a coma for months, listening to all of Mick's words throughout his sleep, but he was now looking at the love of his life for real.

Mick's arms were around him in an instant, and Sid let out a sob into Mick's shirt.

"I-I'm sorry I-" Sid coughed, "I didn't think I was gonna cry..."

Mick held Sid tighter against him, (but not enough to hurt his bruised ribs) his own tears flowing freely. "I-it's f-fine...I-I'm crying too..."

Sid laughed the slightest bit, but it came out forced and ragged. "That's a first."

Mick tried to laugh too, but he was too overwhelmed by relief to express any other emotion.

"M-Mick..."

"Yeah?"

"You're crushing me."

"Oh shit!" Mick let go of Sid immediately, "Sorry..."

Sid gave Mick one of his signature lopsided grins. Mick's heart fluttered.

"It's okay Bear."

There were a couple minutes of silence between the two, the only sounds in the room was the constant beeping of the monitor, and the occasional sniffs coming from Sid.

Mick held Sid there. He didn't realize the full extent of missing Sid until he held him at that moment.

"I'm so sorry Sid."

Sid shuffled out of Micks arms to look at him. "For what?"

Mick scoffed. "For everything Sid. For being such a dick to you when you first joined the band. For completely leaving you after finally admitting how I felt. For barely doing anything to contact you when you wouldn't talk to me...shall I continue?"

"N-no..." Sid sighed, "Mick, I already know you're sorry. I listened the whole time I was in a coma man."

Mick's eyes widened. "Wait, that's an actual thing?"

"Yeah."

Mick looked down in embarrassment. He had poured his heart out to Sid when he was unresponsive. He had cried, he had said he loved Sid almost a million times. He had admitted to the mushiest of things...

Mick grimaced.

"Hey..." Sid placed a shaky hand on Mick's face. "I love you Mick."

Mick's lips were on Sid's in an instant.

The two kissed like there was no tomorrow. Sid's arms were wrapped around his neck as Mick held his face in his hands.

"I love you." Sid whispered again, and they kissed harder.

God, Mick missed this. He missed being able to hold Sid against him.

The desperation and arousal was very apparent in the kiss. Mick could tell by the way Sid began to tug on his hair as their tongues melded together.

To Mick, Sid was heaven on earth.

"Alright break it up you two."

Sid pulled away from Mick in embarrassment, and Mick chuckled in response.

He's so fucking cute. Mick thought as he turned around.

Chris stood there, a smirk tugging at his lips as his eyes wavered over the couple. "Everyone else wants to see you man."

Sid eyes brightened at the thought of seeing everyone again. He had heard everyone talking when they visited him, sure, but he was excited to give his whole family a huge hug.

Mick placed a chaste kiss on Sid's head. "We'll talk some more later."

Soon, everyone was filing into the room, and Mick was forced to share Sid for the remainder of the time. Much to his dismay...

But Jim stayed where he was: propped up against the waiting room wall as everyone crowded the room. He'd see Sid later. The room is holding a lot of people as it is.

When Corey was about to go in, Jim grabbed his arm.

"Hey Corey?" Jim spoke in a hushed voice, and Corey stopped to look at his friend "Are you okay?"

Corey shook his head. "No, but that doesn't matter." He looked towards the floor, "I'm sorry."

Jim was taken aback. "What for?"

Corey slipped out of Jim's grasp and put his hand over his eyes.

"I...fuck." He paused, "For drinking again, and isolating myself from everyone, and making Joey try to..." Corey couldn't hold back his tears anymore.

He was so exhausted. He had spent the past two weeks cleaning himself up and wallowing in his guilt.

He just wanted to see Joey awake and well. He didn't want to see the shell of who Joey used to be whenever he walked into the hospital room. He wanted to see the happy, bubbly, crazy Twilight fan he knew and loved.

Jim enveloped Corey with his arms and hugged him tight. "Don't worry about it man. Just don't do it again. Craig and I will kill you."

Corey would've laughed, but he knew Jim wasn't kidding. "Joey hates me."

"No, he's afraid of you. You need to mend the relationship you two had before once Joey is out of here."

Corey nodded. "Okay...and Jim?"

"Yeah?"

"I promise, I'll never do something like that again."

And with that, the two of them entered Sid's room.
