Uhm...this chapter killed me, so it's probably gonna kill you too.

Ugh, I hate myself for doing this. But we're past the point of no return so...

Enjoy(?)

So, this is it I guess.

Joey never thought it would end this way quite frankly. Hell, he never thought it would end, period.

Heh, it's okay, I guess, he thought numbly, Corey doesn't love me, Sid's going to die, and no one else is here for me. I'm better off dead.

He tipped the bottle up, swallowing up the rest of the Vodka as tears streamed down his face.

This is it. This is the end of everything.

He abruptly smashed the bottle against the floor, fishing his phone out of his pocket.

"God dammit Corey." He growled, dialing his lover's number, "Just fucking answer me..."

Joey shakily put the phone up to his ear, listening to the familiar grotesque ringing.

...as it went to voicemail.

"Corey." He sobbed, letting his phone drop to the alcohol-filled floor, "P-please..."

He picked up his phone and dialed again, building up false hope in his head as he listened to the ringing again.

No answer.

"Fuck!" Joey hissed, throwing the phone as rough as he could, watching the piece of technology shatter against the wall.

Sobs racked Joey's body as he collapsed under the shattered glass below him. He felt used and emotionally drained as he lay there, his thoughts wandering to Corey, who completely rejected everything he's done for him.

"Please..." He whispered to no one in particular, desperate for any kind of comfort.

Sobs continued to escape his body as he eventually picked himself off of the abused floor. He picked up the shattered phone on the way as he brushed off a few pieces of broken glass. He would need it for his legit farewell to everyone.

Joey forced his tired body down the stairs and opened the front door. He didn't bother with a jacket, because that would make his dying process a lot slower.

He wiped away a few tears as he stepped into his car, knowing that the keys were already resting in the ignition. It made him feel like he had planned his suicide ages ago.

Joey rejected that word. Suicide. He didn't look at it like that. He looked at it like he was taking a long, long vacation to the depths of nothingness.

It didn't really make sense per se, but what did make sense in his life anymore? He could view his death however he wanted to. It's not like anyone cared.

Joey nearly crashed into everything in his drunken state, but he didn't care. He only cared about ending all his pain. He sped down the street faster, ignoring the stop signs and laws that got in the way of his destination.

Just then, he took a sharp turn towards the bridge, another strangled sob escaping his chapped lips.

"Fuck everything..." He bellowed, digging his nails roughly into the steering-wheel.

When he stopped the car, he pulled out his phone again, and stepped out of the vehicle.

Just a few more steps...

Joey looked down at the hungry water below him, the waves taunting him as they licked against the bridge.

Joey exhaled shakily as he pressed on Corey's contact name, bringing the phone up to his ear for one last time.

He could barely hear the ringing of his phone as he tried to stifle his cries. So when it went to voicemail, he didn't notice.

Thirty seconds later, he realized that he had to bid his lover farewell.

He didn't really remember what he said into the phone. He only knew that he practically poured his heart into his last words, despite the slur in his intoxicated voice.

Joey was drunk (of course), and incoherent as he stopped the voicemail, and threw his phone into the water below.

The only visible thought that had appeared through the madness of his own conscience was, am I actually going to do this.

And as he let his frail body go limp as he began to tip forwards, he knew he had answered his question.

Goodbye Corey, I love you.
