" Mama." I heard Kari calling me.
She walked into my bedroom.
" Lil girl why are you here? Shouldn't you be at your father's house having dinner with him. " I asked.
" See what had happened was." She started off.
" See I'm gonna stop you there. You're either about to lie to me or tell me something I don't wanna hear." I said.
" Mama it's not even my fault. " She whined.
" Listen I don't care who's fault it was. I may not like David. But no child of mine will disrespect their parents. Even if he is a ásshole." I said.
" Mama you supposed to be on my side." She said.
" I am on your side. I'm trying to teach you how to be respectful. Because I know how reckless your mouth is sometimes." I said.
She sighed.
" Now what we are gonna do. I'd go back to his house so you can apologize and I don't wanna hear any complaining." I said.
" Yes mama." She said walking out of my room.
I couldn't help but be proud of myself. I was being super mature about this whole situation. Even if Dave came at me side ways on the phone.
