Being friday, it meant that I didn't have class today, but Nathan had one in the morning. So he wouldn't be by the house until around one or two. The boys had made a big mess in the house so I decided to start cleaning.

I had been consumed by cleaning and listening to music on the radio, I hadn't even noticed Nathan had walked in.

"Hey." Nathan said leaning against the door frame.

"Oh my gosh, Nathan. You scared me." I said leaning back against the counter.

He started laughing, which made me smile. "Sorry, what you doing?"

"Cleaning. You boys are very messy, at least Siva tried to clean up some of your mess." I said throwing a dish towel at him. He ended up catching it.

"Ha, you missed." he said laying it down on the table.

"Well, if you didn't hurt me, I could have hit you." he smiled that perfect smile of his at me while he sat down at the island.

"Sorry about that, again. So what are we doing tonight?" he asked me while playing with a pen.

"We could go and eat out, since i just cleaned in here." I said putting away the last dish.

"Yeah, that sounds good. What time do you want to leave?" he said.

"We could leave about six-thirty or seven. Give us time to get cleaned up, because you smell really bad." I said jokingly.

"Oh, I stink?" he said raising his eyebrows and standing up.

"Yep!" I said as he started walking towards me.

"Well, so do you." he said standing right in front of me.

"No, you smell so bad, I think your just smelling yourself." he took a few more steps forward and I took one step back causing me to run into the counter. He placed his hands atop the counter on either sides of me.

He just had something about him that made him irresitible, from the look in his eyes that made me melt, to his perfect smile, to the way his hair was flawless. But above all the looks, it was the he made me feel when I was around him, like he would protect me no matter what. That he cared for me deeply, even though we hadn't known each other very long. Because I know I do.

Both of our breathing started to quicken, that's when he slowly started to lean forward.

Nathan's POV

When I got to Kenzie's house I knocked on the door, but there was no answer. I could hear music, so I tried the door and it was unlocked, so I went in. I went towards where the music was coming from, which turned out to be the kitchen.

When I walked in Kenzie had her back to me and was washing dishes. I could tell she was consumed by the music, by the way her head was moving. I couldn't help, but smile.

I knew if I said something it would scare her, so that's why I said it. "Hey." the look on her face was priceless, when she saw me leaning against the door frame.

"Oh my gosh, Nathan. You scared me." she said leaning against the counter.

I couldn't help but laugh at her, "Sorry, so what you doing?"

"Cleaning. You boys are very messy, at least Siva tried to clean up some of your mess." thats when she threw a dish towel at me, but I caught it.

"Ha, you missed." I said laying it down on the table.

"Well, if you didn't hurt me, I could have hit you." I just smiled at her and sat down at the island. I still felt bad for hurting her and I'm sure Jay does too.
