Chapter 23 - Could I Wait Forever

NATHAN'S POV

"When were you going to tell me?"

*3 hours earlier*

"So you're finally going to tell her?" Siva asked as we walked to the frat house the boys were still staying at.

"That's the plan." I answered him.

"Why did you wait so long?"

"I never planned on me and her to become this serious, to be honest. I thought we would hang and things but I didn't even think she would give me the chance. Then when we started dating, I just never found the courage to tell her, then I fell in love with her. I just hope she doesn't shut me out when I tell."

"Or hate you forever." Siva interjected.

"Thanks for the confidence boost Seev." I said and he just laughed.

"I'm just putting out what could happen. You waited a long time, I'm just telling you to be prepared for everything."

"Yeah, I know Seev." I said as we walked into the house and straight to the boys room.

"Ey!" The boys yelled when we walked in.

"I thought you had class Nath?" Tom said as he was throwing things into his suitcases.

"It was only a quiz day, so it only lasted about thirty minutes. So you guys are already starting to pack?"

"Well, we kind of made Tom start cause you know if he don't start now he'll forget something." Jay said helping Tom by throwing clothes in as well.

"So baby Nath has finally decided to tell Kenzie everything." Siva said plopping down on the bed.

They all turned and looked at me.

"Now how do you plan to do this?" Max asked.

"I was going to take her to dinner and when we got back to her house I was going to tell her."

"Don't hurt her Nath." Jay said cautiously.

Kenzie and Jay had become very close these past couple of months. They are very protective of each other and I think it's good that she is close to him while Alyson is away.

"I don't plan on it." I said back thinking about how tonight was going to go.

"If you hurt her I might have to hurt you." Jay said to me seriously.

"Trust me Jay, I don't want to hurt her."

"Good." He said walking out.

"You better be careful, Jay is very protective of Kenzie."

"Yeah, I know." I answered back.

I told the guys that I would talk to them later and when I was leaving I ran into Jay.

"Hey. You leaving?" He asked.

"Yeah, I need to go find me a par of converse." I laughed.

"Kenzie's favorite." Jay smiled.

"Yeah."

"Just know that, in a way you're taking us all down with you, if this goes bad." He stated.

"Yeah, I know. I don't plan on it going bad."

"I hope it doesn't, cause I don't want you to lose her, because I've seen how happy she makes you. I don't want you to lose that. I also don't want her to lose her happiness. So be careful."

I didn't think Jay cared that much, about me that is, I knew he cared a lot for Kenzie, but I thinks it's nice he doesn't want us to lose our happiness.
