Chapter 6 - Change of Plans

Sorry that I haven't uploaded in awhile, but I had sick animals and didn't have time to write. But as promised I am putting up three chapters at least then I'm not to much of a liar.

Also from now on at the end of every chapter I will be putting up a five song playlist. They will be songs that helped me write the chapter or songs that I really like. Anyway hope you guys like it.

It was almost three when we got back to town, so we decided to go back to my house and wait for the guys to get out of class at four.

"So what do you boys want to do until the boys get out of class?" I asked sitting on the couch.

"What is ther to do?" Nathan asked sitting down beside me, followed by Jay on the other side of me.

"We could watch a movie until they get out."

"Let's watch Avatar!" Jay said jumping up off the couch.

"No!" Nathan yelled jumping up after him.

Jay grabbed thhe movie off the table and Nathan tried to grab it and when he couldn't reach it, he jumped on Jay's back. Me laughing so hard didn't see the situation unfolding right in front of me, that's when both Jay and Nathan landed on top of me.

"OW!" I yelled out in pain. They both jumped up off of me.

"Oh my gosh. Kenzie, are you okay?" Nathan asked, concern on his face.

"I don't know, can you help me up?" they both grabbed an arm each. When I stood up there was a pain below my chest. "Ow."

"What's wrong?" Jay asked.

"It hurts right here." I said barely touching where the pain was coming from. "I think I broke a rib."

"What?" They said together. "Do you need to go the doctor?"

"Yeah, I think so." I said trying to smile, to let them know I wasn't mad at them. "You can drive my car."

"Jay has to drive. I haven't really driven that much here yet." Nathan said.

"Okay, Jay the keys on the hallway table." he went and grabbed them.

"I'll be in the car." Jay yelled.

"Okay." Nathan yelled back. "Can you walk?" he said looking at me, I could tell by the look in his eyes he felt really bad.

"Nathan, I might have broken a rib, noot a foot." I said starting to laugh, which was a bad idea, "Ow, ow."

We went to the car and getting in proved kind of difficult seeing as my car was shorter than I imagined.

The whole car ride was Jay and Nathan apoligizing for hurting me, even though I told them it was okay, they kept telling me how sorry they were.

When we got to the hospital Jay dropped me and Nathan off at the emergency room, while he went and parked the car.

"Hi, how can I help you?" a petite blond woman asked me from behind the counter.

"Hi. Um, I think I might have broken a rib."

"Okay, if you could fill these out, the doctor will be with you as soon as he can." she said handing me a clipboard of papers.

There was only one other person there, so the wait wouldn't be that long. After I was done filling out papers Nathans insisted on taking them back to the lady, so I let him.

Jay came into the waiting room about five minutes later. You could tell he was still worried when he came to sit down beside me and Nathan.

"Hey, so when do you get to see the doctor?" Jay asked me.
