i thought i had written a whole lot, but i didn't once i looked at it up here :( i'm sorry, i'll post this weekend most likely! i've been busy, but i know thats no excuse.
on the other hand, i have the ending all figured out (if i haven't said it already) and its so good ;)
We walked the rest of the way home from the club, me in the crook of his arm feeling his comfort and warmth all around.
"I'll tell you something." He said to me, reaching his arm around to wipe a tear from my eye with his thumb. "My dad used to tell me if you ever find yourself alone with a girl on a Friday night, take her out to eat."
I snorted.
"What?" Porter asked.
"Is that a lame excuse just to get food?"
"Of course not!" He defended. "I really care about you. You know that."
I smiled, looking down at my shoes. I wasn't too positive he did, so it was nice to hear it from himself.
"But I am a little hungry...."
-------------------------------------
We ended up at a Chinese takeout place by Chinatown.
Porter said it had the best in the city, and he was surprised I'd never had it before. Dillon showed it to him the last time they were up here together, and they ate it every chance they got.
We went in and ordered lo mein and sesame chicken, then went outside and sat at a bench by the street. The food was amazingly delicious, and we ate in a comfortable silence, watching the groups of people come home from their late night parties and other things.
"You didn't lie," I said, chewing the chicken and sighing in pleasure. "This is fantastic."
"I told you," Porter said, finishing off his noodles. "I know my food."
We finished up our food, and carried the takeout foam containers to the trashcan.
"Do you wanna go ahead home?" Porter said, sticking his hands in his coat.
I shrugged my shoulders. "I'm up for whatever."
"In that case.. do you want to go have a movie marathon at my place? Or at least until Anton and Tess get back from the club."
I nodded, attempting to hold in a smile. "Yeah, yeah, that'd be great."
Truthfully, I wanted nothing more.
----------------------------------
We got back to their apartment around 12, and settled down on the couch. After deciding to watch an anime (Kyoukai no Kanata, both one of mine and Porter's favorites) we both focused on the screen, while I sipped a soda and contentedly tried not to let Porter's closeness and warmth from beside me get to my head.
"Alexa," Porter said, biting his lip.
My eyes flickered over to him. "Yeah?"
"I need to ask you something."
My stomach flipped over, and my heart began to increase its speed.
"Sure, go ahead."
"Have you ever had sex?"
I completely lost it.
I burst out laughing, my breath coming out in wheezing gasps, falling back onto the couch. Porter looked at me with sheer confusion, his face going between amused and bewildered.
"I'm sorry -" I breathed unevenly, giggling. "But I, I was not expecting THAT."
He still looked at me, confused. "Whats so funny about that question?"
