hey guys hope you had an awesome Memorial Day weekend! if you're not American, i hope you're having a good start to your week :) i was a little late updating this chapter, so I decided to make it twice as long just for you guys! lots of fluff and a little bit of drama in this one ;) hope you enjoy!

I woke up to someone nudging me.

"Alexa... Alexa... Alexa..."

I didn't even budge.

"Alexa, there's bacon and eggs."
I shot up.

"Well, good morning to you too." Porter was sitting in front of me, grinning. He was fully dressed whereas I was lying in bed with my hair in the messiest bun with morning breath. I yawned, falling back on my pillow and letting my eyes adjust to the astonishing amount of sunlight streaming in through the screen doors.

He stood up, stretching his arms above his head. "I think we're gonna spend today on the beach, and then we're having a little party tonight, maybe."

My eyes opened wide. "Do you guys know anyone here?"

Porter laughed. "Of course I know people here. I've been here thousands of times. We used to have the best parties on the beach with this awesome group of people. I can't wait to introduce you to them."

I smiled. Porter's eyes were brightening up as he talked about it, and he was grinning from ear to ear. "I'd love to meet up with them."

He smiled wider, and reached out an arm to help me out of bed. "Come and get food with me, I haven't eaten yet."

I reached for his arm, grasping onto it and groaning as he yanked me out of my comfortable position. "How long have the others been up?"

Porter chuckled. "No one else is up. It's 11am and they're all asleep still."

I rolled my eyes. "That's really not surprising at all. So what, you made the bacon and eggs?"

He shrugged, blushing a little. "Yeah, I figured I'd repay you for making me those pancakes that one time I was over at your house."

"Well, that's nice of you." I smiled, reaching for a hoodie lying on my suitcase and shrugging it over my head. Porter stepped into the hallway and began to make his way downstairs, leaving me alone in the room with half of my hoodie on. One arm was all the way through and the other was struggling to find the hole, while my head was trapped in the hood.

"Porter!" I yelled from the room. "A little help, please? I'm stuck."

From what I could see through the top, he reappeared at the doorway and stared at me in curiosity for a second before bursting into laughter. I pouted, and gave him the finger with the one arm that was out of the hoodie.
"Can you please help me instead of just standing there?"

His laughter died down as he stepped over one of my bags on the floor to get over to me, and I felt his warm hands touch my arm and lead it out of the sleeve. He then pushed the hood down so that my head emerged from the top, and I breathed a giant mouthful of air. "You good?" He asked, grinning.

I nodded, starting to move to the hallway and to the breakfast awaiting the two of us downstairs. I wanted some time with Porter before the others woke up, even if it wouldn't be long and it was just the two of us eating in silence. Any alone time with Porter was good enough for me.

Around 1, after the others had woken up (Tess and Anton had come downstairs giggling about something, while Hugo had been awake the whole time in his room on his laptop. Don't even get me started on Dillon. We almost had to pour water on him because he wouldn't even budge in his sleep.) we decided to spend the day on the beach. There was a boat that Porter wanted to drive out on sometime in the afternoon after we ate lunch as well.
