Her cries, tattered shirt, bloody fingers were all I knew until they woke me up from my horrific slumber.
The sounds of muffled calls were heard around me, as if they yelled from the other side of an island.
'Hey, you ne.. to get up... the...ctar to wor..' My ears had made, 'If she can't wake up don't force her to kelp headed seaweed brain,' a female voice sounded surprisingly close to me.
'Since when did you mix those up, wise girl,'
I couldn't stand this anymore, it felt as if I was blind, not being able to see anything. It felt as if I were mute, not being able to talk.
'Is that all you got Perry Johanson?'
'Nope miss-' I wiggled slowly, feeling the blanket make a crumple noise. I felt their eyes lay on me as I pried mine open. My eyes betrayed me as I started to see fuzzy clouds shaped like humans and shadows, 'Hey hey, you woke her up!' the female whispered, 'It was both our faults,' the boy protested. I didn't know how many seconds had passed, but it felt like forever until I could see clearly. They both had amazed expressions on their faces, as they stared...and stared...and stared.
The two could be described as college students. The girl had stormy grey eyes, and blonde hair that was pulled back in a messy bun, yet I could till see the waves formed naturally.
The boy had sea green eyes, black bed hair and lighter than fair skin. He had this friendly I don't know anything about this world everyone thinks I'm stupid grin that calmed me by the second. The girl smiled knowingly at me, the type who knew everything was behind that pretty outside form of hers which I immediately admired.
'My names Percy Jackson, this is Annabeth Chase,' he started off, 'You must be wondering where you are, well we will explain eventually,'
'Right now we can tell you are in a summer camp for special people, and surprisingly your one of us,' the girl spoke up. 'It's a rare species kinda thing,' the boy known as 'Percy' stated and Annabeth rolled her eyes.
Summer Camp...I had thought. It sounded familiar, maybe the whole time I slept I had dreamt about it. I took a quick glance at their shirts not to be rude, it spelt CHB. I jerked up, Autumn! Get out of camp! AUTUMN! the memory of a girl screamed at me for a second, and I shook my head, must've been a nightmare. 'Let's get you out into the vitamin c,' Percy took my arm and pulled me on his shoulder for a piggy back ride. 'Percy, that's not how you use vitamin c in a sentence if you're referring to the sun!' Annabeth corrected. 'Okay!' he yelled back, walking out the room.
'I know Chiron told me not to speak to you, since you're in this state but I just wanted to ask what's your name?' Annabeth asked me. I was facing Percy's back, since I was much smaller than him, so I couldn't manage to turn my head in any direction to see her expression. It took a long pause for me to decide whether or not to speak up. After the conflict between myself I spoke in a mere whisper, quieter than I intended, 'Autumn...Luna,'
Percy's head shot up from looking down at his feet when walking, which scared me so much I lost my grip and went crashing to the floor backwards. I shut my eyes waiting for the impact yet it never came.
I had just realized a hand had slipped under me and kept me from falling. I peeked one eye open...and then the other. A guy a bit younger than the two college students looked down at me, he seemed a bit like a a Latino Santa's elf, with curly black hair, dark brown eyes, pointy ears, a mischievous smile on his face. He might be about 5'6 ft. Then I realized he had this look in his eyes that makes him look like he has taken much more caffeine then the normal limit, which caused my insides to panic since he was literally holding me. In rapid speed I was on my feet behind Percy and Annabeth clutching their shirts and staring wide eyed at the boy. Yeah, I was thirteen, it didn't mean I can't be afraid of a smirking Santa elf.
'Woah, since when did I become scary? All the ladies luv Leo!' he exclaimed, 'Almost,' Annabeth corrected, gesturing to me. He shrugged, 'Autumn this is Leo Valdez, Leo this is Autumn Luna,' Percy said, while forcing me in front of him. 'Nice to meet you, Moon in the Season,' he held out a hand. I shook it and he winked which caused me to automatically pull my hand away and calm my barfing nerves down. 'You have unique coloured eyes young lady,' he continued. How on earth can he- I just can't- HASN'T HE REALIZED I'M GROSSED OUT ALREADY?! I then remembered he complimented my eyes. Well that was honestly weird for me, since I was targeted, bullied and teased at school for having different coloured eyes. Wondering what color they were? As far as I can remember looking at the mirror, my left eye was green and my right was a different shade of brown with a mix of redish crimson. 'I was about to ask why she had mismatched eyes,' Percy stated, 'It's called heterochromia iridum no-brain,' Annabeth corrected. I gazed up at the two campers who nodded reassuringly at me, 'T-thanks,' I replied and a huge smile spread across his face. 'No probs Fall!'
By the time we were out of the huge house the sunlight was brighter than ever.
'Welcome to Camp-Half Blood,' they said in unison.
.
.
'I know this place,' I mumbled, 'This is in my dreams,' I told them both, spinning around with a cold glare. 'I remember everything now..daughters and sons of the Greek Gods,'
