Leo's POV

Lyida was one of my best helpers around this time of the year, she asked me not to tell anyone she was in Camp Half-Blood, although a couple of times I had to resist announcing to the public a sister of Luke Castellan was present. My phone flashed

Incoming Call from Autumn Beauregard

"Wazzup-"

"Leo, I'm-" I could hear her let out a cough

"Autumn, are you sick?"

"Help, smoke-" She let out a strangled cry, and it seriously sounded painful. Panic started to well-up inside of me. My hand tightened around the phone,

"Where are you?!"

"Nymph house, Nico-" a glass shattered around her somewhere. She screamed

"LEO! PLEASE! HELP! LE-" a sudden silence.

"AUTUMN WHAT HAPPENED?" no reply. I could hear fire crackling around her, wait, fire, that's why she coughed so painfully. I sprinted out forgetting about Lydia, but I didn't have a second to tell her. I spotted Nico standing just a mile away from me, instead of shoving him aside, I grabbed him by the arm and kept running, and no offence, he was as thin as a stick and as light as a feather. "Get of my arm!" he plucked of my fingers, so, I grabbed him by the hood. "Wheres the nymph house?" I headed towards the forest. "Wait- how did you know-" "JUST TELL ME!" Nico pointed and suddenly his eyes grew to a shocked look. Just a few feet away, a house was on fire, the green carvings were smelted and burnt, "Our house..." Nico stopped abruptly. "keep running, she's in there." I told him, "Who's in there?!" I could feel just a bit of the heat radiating of my skin already. We approached the door and I kicked it open. "Autumn" "WHAT?!" I jumped inside, since Nico wasn't immune, he didn't follow. "Autumn! Where are you?" I finally seen her just by a door, laying down. Pieces of sharp glass surrounded her, but I didn't care. I reached for her, placed my arm in a secure position under her leg and neck so that I could fit her through the door. Chips of ash fell from her hair, the cute brownish hazel hair was now darkened to pitch black. I put her to a standing position and gestured for Nico to put her arm around his shoulder so I could lessen the weight, and to be honest, she was a little heavy. Her eyes were still closed and her head was down, hair covering her face.

We were out of the woods when we spotted Percy, Annabeth, Jason and Piper having their time of their lives in volleyball, and I didn't even warn them. The campers from cabin 7 hauled her onto the infirmary bed, and thats when I seen how awful her condition was. The shards of glass that I thought were only glass were- "Excuse me" a British accent sounded somewhere beside me. A boy maybe 5 ft 7 approached us, he had extremely light tousled blonde hair, and amethyst eyes, "Are they natural?" I asked, Nico nudged me. "I beg your Pardon?". "Your seriously asking him?" Nico whispered with that are you crazy? Look in his eyes. "Whats wrong king death breath?" I whispered back, mocking him. He narrowed his eyes. "Anyways, I found pieces of fumed silica in her body and-" Nico stepped forward. "You? Alone?"
