DOTM Chapter 24 ~ New Camper ~

 Percy's POV

I heard an unfamiliar high pitch scream. "Thalia, I need to go." "Percy! It's he-" I waved my hand over and sprinted for the door on towards the sound. Jason was kneeling just outside the cabin next to a figure of a girl. She lay down in a freefaller position, her skin was pale, auburn hair so long that it swept over her feet. Her eyes were open, but the color was dead. "We need to get her to the-" "Percy!" Jason said sternly. I took a step back, confused. "Don't." I peered down at her, the color was coming back, green and silver, just like- like Autumn. The girl looked up at me, "Autumn?" I asked, "No, It's me, Amber." she replied. I blinked rapidly. Amber stood up, "Are you alright?" She asked. "Woah, okay, what is going on?!" My voice was shaking. Jason looked at me as if I was going crazy. "I don't know you." I explained to her. She put a hand on my shoulder, I flinched. "Helloo? It's me Autumn. Like I just said." I studied her, she had the same features as Autumn, but still pale. "What's with the hair-do?" I asked, she looked at me sourly insulted. "I thought you might like it. The Aphrodite cabin gave me this weird shampoo that makes your hair perfect, I guess they gave me the wrong one." I face palmed myself, I was going crazy. Then I heard Annabeth yell, "Seaweed brain!! New camper!" Jason gauged, "Why is the name so....overused?" Before I could say anything, Autumn rolled her eyes. "Because obviously, Percy likes it." I had to resist head locking her. "Ahaha very funny." I said sarcastically.I approached the big house. A girl that seemed younger than 12 sat in front of Chiron, her arm folded on her chest, she wore somewhat purple cargo trousers, the shirt hung loose on her shoulders and her waist was tight. Dirty blonde brownish hair that was long and slightly wavy hung down from her shoulders. A short fringe on her forehead, gold and silver bangle chains as accessories around her wrists. She reminded me of Thalia, but come on, she couldn't have been another child of Zeus. I realized I might have been staring at her for too long. She looked up at me, without saying a word. Her electrifying blue eyes startled me for a second too. "Percy and Annabeth, take a seat, this is a very important subject." Chiron spoke in a stern tone. I sat in the chair between Annabeth and Chiron. "I'm Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, hero of Olympus." An akward smile spread across her lips, "You remind me of someone,Perseus. I'm Mia, I have multiplinted godly parents." I looked blankly at her. Who was supposed to know what multiplinted godly parent means,what, like I went to school for longer than two years. I just kept blowing things up, then there was my pre-algebra teacher, then a pen that turned into a sword,  all the way to falling down a cliff, and don't get me started on Taurtarus, the thought alone is enough insanity. "I'm Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, architectress of the Empire State Building." She nodded. "Sooooo, what's a multiplinted godly parent?" Annabeth gave me that disbelief face, which I found rather cute. "What's the base word of multiplied?" she asked, "multi- wait, what does that have to do with this?" Chiron looked as if to face-palm himself. "I means many godly parents." "Okay....no.way." "Plus, all her godly parents are part of the big three." I felt like passing out, could she actually be two times stronger than me? I didn't have a breath to believe it. "I think we understand the situation already Chiron." I looked from Annabeth to Chiron and back to Mia, forming a triangle over and over again. "We'll sort out the details later, but I tell one thing." Chiron stated, gesturing us closer to him. He whispered under his breath, "Don't, let her anywhere near Autumn, a magic has been duplicated within the borders." I sighed until footsteps came running down the hall towards us. The door flew open and there stood two Nicos. The atmosphere suddenly changed and before I knew it, they both yelled. "There's two of us!"
