DOTM Chapter 17 ~ Voices ~

Autumn's POV

2 DAYS LATER

Leo was back in bunker 9 fixing something he called a secret, I asked if it was for the Calypso girl, then he let me in on what he called secret. He was to travel to Ogygia, and said I could come, and if he would not return to camp half-blood, I would be the one to go back and tell Chiron. Anyways, I had a long talk with my brother, Percy and Annabeth is still in school, I didn't have a chance to meet Frank and Hazel, Nico must still be paralyzed by whatever happened, Piper was watching Amercia's Next Top Model, and I guess I was alone. A while ago, I forced Jason to let the Apollo and Hephaestus kids make me a music studio in next to our cabin, and yes, my mother said Zeus accepted it, as long as it was good music, or else he'll make it rain. I slid the door open and slipped inside. There was a drum kit, guitar and bass, grand piano, and remix station in front of a recording studio. I felt like a toddler, running up to the guitar. I brought it into the recording studio and adjusted the R.S microphone, I placed the headphones on slid the iPad to the left. I scrolled down. Thrift Shop, Blurred Lines, Can't Hold Us, When I Was Your Man, Just Give Me A Reason. Then I scrolled on Artists. My heart skipped a beat, it was my favorite band, Imagine Dragons. "Screen, play Demons."

Nico was leaning on the wall just behind the  glass window at the remix station, his foot tapping and his head nodding to the rhythm. When I stopped singing, he stared at me, eyes sparkling. "When did you learn how to sing and play the guitar? It was flawless!" I decided to cover up my embarrassment with less pride, "Your starting to sound like Simon Cowell." I stood up and placed the guitar on the stand and froze. "Wait" I turned around, "Do you wanna join in with the jam?" He laughed and stood up straight, "Why not? Throw me the guitar." A awkward long pause, "I mean, pass me the guitar please." I picked it up and threw it at him with a smirk, and of course, it smacked him in the forehead. "You don't need to be so formal." Nico glared at me. He walked up to the IPad and scrolled downwards, "So, what song?" I thought for a moment, lets invite some people. I peeked outside the door and seen Annabeth, Percy, Jason, Piper and another girl and guy. I waved my hand, Percy blinked twice ,"Oh hey Autumn! Were finding you!" He jogged over to me and the others followed. "So, new room huh?" Said the guy. He look Asian-Canadian and has this babyish face with brown eyes and black short hair, he seemed to have a stout body and military haircut. He somewhat looked like a koala bear with muscles, but that childishness ends there. A tattoo was placed on his arm, an image of two crossed spears above, initials SPQR and a single bar line beneath it. "and a new half-blood, Greek or Roman?" said the girl next to him, she looked African American with shoulder-length curly cinnamon brown hair and gold eyes. She has the same mark with a glyph, the letters SPQR. I realized I had been staring at them too long that I must have creeped them out because the look on the girls face explained everything. I stretched my hands out in front of them, "The names' Selen Autumn Luna, I'm 14 years old, and Greek, daughter of Selene, Jason's cousin." they both took it, "I'm Frank Zhang, ancestor of Poseidon, son of the roman form of Ares, this is Hazel Levesque, daughter of the roman form of Hades, half sister of Nico." I was suprised, Nico never told me he had a sister. "Nice to meet you." I smiled as politley as I could, then heard Nico's voice from the studio. "Autumn, seriously which song!" Everyone gave me a confused look, "Is that Nico in there?" nearly everyone asked at the same time. "Oh, yeah, we were about to do a cover but do you guys wanna join? Theres plenty of space." "Yeah sure, why not!" Percy answered. I walked in with everyone behind me. Nico turned around and inhaled, "Why on Hades is everyone here?" nobody answered, then he spotted Hazel and ran to her. "Hazel...." She patted him on the shoulder. "Anyways, all of us should sing a parody!" "ROYALS!" Piper yelled. It automatically played instrumental. 

Hazel: I pull out diamonds from the floor

Frank: I try keep my stick from burning to ash

Percy: and I'm not proud of leaving bob

Annabeth: in a torn-up world, all quests are crazy

Autumn: But every song's like Roman, Graecus, Gaea and her forces

Jason: Bloodstains, flying, switching up my choices

Piper: We don't care, I'm stealing Cadillacs cause I can

Nico: but everybody's like two camps, death doors, rising the dead Romans

Piper: We don't care, we just want the Parthenon outta here.

Percy: I'll never be a loser, (loser) sassy runs in my blood

Everyone became quiet, "Never mind, change that...." Percy whispered. In three seconds the whole room was filled with laughter, and I'd never forget this day.
