DOTM Chapter 14 ~Against Us~

Leo's POV

I slung my backpack over my shoulder, and I did feel guilty of one thing. The teacher said we had a math test which would be 40% of our grade, but guess what? I stuffed the review books and papers in to my bag and set it aflame. Of course, without the teacher's knowledge. Today was half-day, we get to go home at 12:00. I stood up and took a quick glance at Autumn. She sat there in a relaxed position, her hands spread on on her desk with her chin rested on her arms, she stared at the empty white-board, I waved a hand in front of her face. Instead of me snapping her out of it, a loud crash was heard on my right. One random guy that was extremely muscular and had an eight pack (don't ask) flipped over some innocent kid's table. He huffed and made eye contact with me, his eyes were fierce and filled with rage, and of course, I returned it. Cause that's how I roll. "Let;s leave." Nico said suddenly, and I'm guessing he had the same experience. We walked down the hallway full of lockers, Nico and I was on either side of Autumn, for security reasons. A guy with dirty blonde hair, stormy grey eyes, and an evil look was leaning on one of the sky blue lockers, his outfit was plain, just normal jeans and a camo-tank top, like the soldier kinda thing if you know what I mean. We approached him, wait- did I just say that? Nico and I were following Autumn and I happened to realize, that was her locker. She stood in front of him, to my surprise, he was the same height as her. "Get off my locker please." she commanded, looking down at the floor. Instead of that guy moving, he placed his hand on the lock and it started clicking. Autumn moved an inch closer to him, I stepped forward but Nico just pushed me back, I looked at him. His expression read, wait, just wait. Autumns voiced raised slightly, "Henry, I said GET-OF-MY-LOCKER!" the guy with the name "Henry" just chuckled. Autumn's lock released and the door swung wide open, "Don't you dare-" she got cut off my his teasing laughter. "What ya' gunna do bout' it?" Henry put his hand in and took out a few photos, he put it over his head, "Hmm, who's these kids? They look so pathetic, maybe all your blabbing is nonsense after all." He was now officially showing it to the world. 3 children were in the photo, one of them was Autumn, a crazy grin and her silver eye sparkling, the other two was a girl and a boy. Nico held his breath, wide eyed. The girls hair flowed in the wind, it looked exactly like the girl earlier, but without the scar and the solemn face. The boy was identical to the extreme, but at the same time familiar. clack clack, I heard rapid footsteps approaching. I turned to see a worried Annabeth and her seaweed-brain headed mushroom. Okay, take out that last bit. They stopped so suddenly. "Wait, isn't that-" Annabeth was about to finish but it ended with Autumn. She pulled out a couple of textbooks from her locker and dropped it hard on his foot. He yelled, "What on Zeus was that for?" thunder rumbled, Nico and I exchanged looks. "Get out of my sight!" Autumn screamed and smacked the photos out of his hand. I looked back, Annabeth and Percy's mouth hung open, and I realized, I too, had the same expression. Henry scrambled away before he could earn more damage, but tripped over his own foot and fell face first in to the popular girl's perfecto mareilosee eregado flamingo tressa cupcake double cake sponsored by diet coke. Autumn bent down and picked up the photos and textbooks, she looked up at us and sighed, her expression was calm and I had already completely forgotten what she looked like filled with madness.
