DOTM Chapter 15 ~Those Memories~

Leo's POV

 "Oh please, close you mouth, you'll swallow a fly." the girl from the picture came over to us. "Did you, just, like, come out of the picture or somethin'?" I know it was a weird question but in the world of flying horses, one eyed people, and a mansion full of gods and goddesses on the Empire State Building? Anything is possible. "Not literally, but yeah." she said, Autumn pulled her into a close hug, "What happened?"  Autumn asked her, "A lot happened, I found out I was a demi-god, and that's when it started." she answered, "Where's your brother?" Autumn asked, "Oh Luke? He- he passed 4 years ago, Luna." Autumn froze, "wh-how? Lydia? who did it?" she asked eagerly, I glanced at Percy and Annabeth, they had their hands clamped over their mouth, a tear dropped from Annabeth's eye. "He was possessed by Kronos, he chose the wrong path, your friends here, they helped stop it." Autumn saw Percy, she looked as if she was about to pass out. "I'm sorry, Autumn, if we-" Percy started but Nico cut him off "There was no other way." "It's okay, I understand." Autumn smiled, but I could tell it was fake, the statement was too childish. It wasn't at all visible to Percy and Annabeth, but Nico and I always do this, exact thing. We cover up the pain with jokes and laughter, we force ourselves to move on, but the present always returns to the past. "I can't stand it here, can I stay at camp, just for a week at least?" Autumn asked, a little too innocently that it made Nico flinch. "I'm comin" I added, Nico stepped forward too. "Percy? Annabella?" I asked, "Nah, it's only the first day, I'll visit maybe after tomorrow." Percy said, putting an arm on Annabeth's shoulder. "I'm with Perc, but don't ever call me Annabella again." She narrowed her eyes, I saluted "Yes-Mam!" she nodded and walked away. "So? Give us the honour of time travel would you?" I smirked, "With pleasure!" Autumn finished off. "Lydia-" we turned around, she was no-where to be seen. Nico sighed, just get on with it. They grabbed my wrist and dragged me into the closest pillar.
