DOTM Chapter 19 ~Ash and Dust~

Short Third Person View:

Autumn's vision were blurry, she was bandaged neatly down her arm, she looked next to her. She couldn't really see him that well, but his voice told her he wasn't an enemy. Autumn slowly sat up, the guy next to neatly adjusted the pillow behind her back and placed a bowl of stew on her lap. "How was your sleep?" he asked. It took awhile for Autumn to reply, but he kept patiently silent. "Good, enough..." Autumn answered, she tried her best to focus on him, but it just wasn't possible. "If you need me to leave, I can-" "It's okay, I need some company, after.....my dream." His foot was constantly tapping against the ground. "So, I'm sorry bout' what happened in school." Autumn looked at him, confused, "I can't seem to...think." she placed the soup in the guy's hands and set the pillow on top of her face. Autumn heard him sigh, "sweet dreams." and she fell back asleep, snoring softly.

I woke to the sound of Nico, "Autumn, you have to wake up, like now." My eyes fluttered open and I seen Nico, a hand on my shoulder and urgent eyes. "huh?" He relaxed and let go, I looked around and spotted Leo and- was that Henry with glasses? A doctor's outfit too?!  "Could you, possibly be Henry?" he chuckled, "I'll give you guys some time, but another patient is coming so, you have a maximum of two minutes to stay here." with that he slid the door open, then closed. A long pause, "So-" Leo started. The door slid open, "I forgot to say, your stew gone cold." Henry said.

Closed.

"Did you-" .

.Open. "Hi." Henry added

.Closed. 

"Have a-"

.Open. "The lake is full of salmon"

.Closed.

"Good Sle-"

.Open. "Mcdonalds is on the empire state buildi-"

"OH WOULD YOU JUST KEEP IT CLOSED KID!" Nico screamed,

"Oh, um, no probs man, I need to go, swim......or somethin..." He took a quick glance at me and ran down the hallway.

"I have three words to describe that." I said, still staring at the door. "You mean we." Nico continued. "That. Was-" "HILARIOUS!" Leo stated and doubled over. Nico stared at him blankly and I blinked my eyes rapidly. "Lets just get out of here before the patient arrives..." Nico held out a hand towards me, I took it. "Thanks." Leo opened the door, "Ladies first." Nico went in front of me, ignoring what Leo just said, and for Leo, after all the laughing, the fire hiccups appeared.

Ignore the title, it has absolutely nothing to do with Ash and Dust, but I'm too obsessed with Imagine Dragons. Yes, Henry was a bully but whats gonna happen is in the last chapter is he will QUACK QUACK QUACK QUACK during his QUACK QUACK and QUACK. ( CLASSIFIED ) 

For those of you who spotted the somewhat spoiler in one of the past chapters, your really lucky and you might have an extra understanding of whats about to happen, but for those who haven't spotted it, my advice is:

THE PAST IS IN THE PAAAAASSSTTTT!
