Lydia's POV
Let's just say that I was watching, like a guardian, not a stalker. I was offered immortality, the same time as Percy, and I seemed to be, half dead. I was cursed by tons of Arai during the battle with Luke, and yes, I had gone against my own brother, led my own pack of demi-gods ( not wolves, although I recommend you do that ). I was invisible, except whenever I took in a breath, it hurt, and I was already dying, if that makes sense to you. Along the way, I met Hecate, goddess of magic. I had no one to live for, no one that could see me, except for the gods, but did they care? Pfft yeah right, in-my-dreams. Hecate secretly released my curse and gave me an amount of her magic only If I would give up my last stand, and so I did. But did I know that it was her when my brother's life was on the line? Did I know she had taken me away from Selena's sister? Did I know, because of her, I had given up Luke's last breath for MY immortality? It was too late to turn back, I was a fool, he could have lived. I don't think Autumn would forgive me if I told her, so now, I keep it.

I ran into the lake where the robe was and jumped in to get it before any creature spotted it. I wasn't the only one though.
