Short Chapter / Autumn's POV
You wouldn't understand me right now.Mixed feelings stirred up inside me. Imagine, if your best friend slept over at your house for months and the next day you were told that she was gone, forever, then after about 6 years she appears again. Not exactly what happened, but the same response. Nico and Leo followed me, when they really didn't need to. I swung the door open and all the student's heads turned, some gave me curious looks, some weird, especially the teacher. I tried to identify their faces for a girl with blonde hair, icy blue eyes, and pale skin, I spotted a girl with red hair-no, a guy with jet black hair-no, a girl wearing swimming goggles, and hair that looked somewhat like the rainbow oxygen from nyan cat, I considered that-no.I walked up to the middle row, since it was vacant. I settled down and placed my favorite pencil in my pocket. That's when I saw her. Just in the seat beside the one in front of me, she sat, twirling her hair. I cleared my throat, stretched across the table and tapped her shoulder. "Um, are you Lydia Castellan?" Her eyes widened for a second, "Yes" "How old are you?" she opened her mouth to say something, but stopped. "Do I know you?" she asked, "I think so." I replied, she studied me from head to toe and turned around, like nothing even happened. I sighed, maybe that wasn't her after all. Her appearance was the same, except now she has a long scar on the side of her face from her eye to the corner of her lip. Nico patted my shoulder, "Trying to make new friends huh?" he asked. "I guess.." my shoulders slumped, hope was lost, forever, just as it was before.
