I tried not to let my face fall as their eyes flashed with anger and disgust.
They saw my Mother, and they still hated her.
They saw me, and they were even more disgusted.
My Mother's first sister stopped in front of me first. Her dress was a beautiful golden gown, her dark skin contrasted beautifully as she towered above me.
A thinly covered hatred in her eyes as she loomed over me.
Father barely flashed a smile before he hauled ass away.

And she did. She looked like an absolute goddess that had taken a break to step down on earth. Her thick beautiful hair in its natural state ontop of her head.
She looked every bit the Queen she felt she should have been.
